Listening to a report about Google chopping down a quarter of a million trees in Finland to build a data centre while washing out yoghurt pots for the recycling

Still at home as wife pretty ill today, and requested i hang around until she has had a shower (which stresses her out and often results in hallucinated arguments) so I took it upon myself to change both super king size duvet covers and now i am knackered. It's like domestic battleropes training

I'm sure there's a Youtube video that shows One Secret Hack to put a SK-size duvet cover on by just rolling it up but whenever I watch those vids I simply can't retain the information on the technique for some reason. I'm a Climb Inside, Turn It Inside Out, Get The Corners guy

Don’t mind me, just making a 6mm LEGO Blacktron army. Why? Because I can. For what system? I’ll figure that out later.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

got the fingerless gloves on this week in the workshop, (might get some for wearing at night in bed since I seem to always have my bad hand out of the duvet and my knuckles get real stiff in the cold and damp bedroom #scroogemaxxxing)

“A distinctively British approach to artificial intelligence" (Metal Mickey, whom I loved as a very small child - 5yrs old - although I couldn't really follow the program as i was too young, I just liked the robot. He was powered by sweets: "Atomic Thunderbusters" aka Fizz Bombs)

Movie recommendation for tonight, Wildwood Just back from seeing this and my god what a masterpiece! Utterly jawdropping at every moment, staggering artistry on display! Made me feel like a kid again watching the likes of Labyrinth of Willow for the first time! TOM WAITS PLAYED THE COYOTE GENERAL!?

Every morning a make myself a piping hot herbal tea and eat a 20 gram protein, sugar free yogurt. I hate my morning routine and I wish to die.

Wisely, I put a large empty plastic tub behind the wheelie bin in case a delivery guy turned up early. He did not, I was in the unit, so it was unused. Looked just now and someone's nicked it! (can't see it blown across the car park or anything)

(This is unusual cos normally nothing goes missing on this mini-industrial park, I can only imagine one of the customers from next door saw it, assumed it was unwanted as it was next to the wheelie bin, and felt it might suit his storage needs so drove off with it...)

Back on the @heresyminiatures.com giant, Mucklegeet. Left is the updated shot but different lighting. Realised there was more to do on the eyes and expression; happier with the updated version. There's paint in places there shouldn't be, but it won't be when finished! Will finish this weekend.

Mash up of 'For crying out loud!'* and 'You're taking the piss!'** *itself a phrase mainly used to clumsily cover up the Eff-bomb you just dropped in front of e.g. someone else's small children ** Brits are very possessive of our piss and deplore theft of it by others

Five hours sleep and then a speedwalk 3.5miles round trip to the hospital to get my eyes tested and I'm knackered, lol. Everything in soft focus until the dilation drugs wear off. Got 3 hours until I have to get back to home from work so i can walk another 2 miles for a DWP appointment at 2pm

Nothing kills a franchise faster than casting Jai Courtney in it, it's not that he's bad per se, but he always feels miscast.

Nothing after T2 ever really hits the mark. I really like the multiversal implications of Genisys, but they got Kyle Reese sooo wrong. Didn't hate Dark Fate, but i did really enjoy Salvation more; maybe it was Michael Ironside that won me over. Also loved the series T3 was the worst one for me

Tricky day tomorrow - got my biannnual retinopathy appointment at 9.20am, and a DWP appt at 2pm. Workshop and home are equidistant from both appts so not sure i fi i go to work ealry, walk to hospital to get eyes dilated, then walk to work, then go home, then walk to DWP, or stay home big-eyed

If i have one complaint about the Slow Horses finale it'd be that you can really only know what happened to [character in very last scene] if you were either paying obscenely close attention and made notes of [background causal events to everything happening this season] or googled it earlier

The street absolutely devoid fo parking spaces tonight thanks to 3 cars who parked badly and left way too much space bewtween them and the next car. Had to park on the pavement itself! As i was unloading car, neightbour caem out and we had small talk along the lines of 'bloody nightmare lately!'

I have two of those beanie hats with leds built in, to get out of the pitch black workshop in the winter. Super useful. One of these days I might even remember to take one of them back to the workshop instead of leaving them at home every day...
