HARD AGREE...not many things are surer to infuriate me than someone saying they're 'a bit ocd' because they pair up their socks

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... This article says the protest remained 'mostly peaceful', but also that 12 people were arrested. If I was on a night out in a space with 150 people and 12 of them were arrested for assault and affray, I would not think my night out had been peaceful

Sounds cool! Let Sara know!

If I ran an own-voices sitcom writing workshop, would people be interested in that? If so, would people be more interested in a sort of beginners’ session for fun or a longer multi-part course producing a piece of work at the end of it?

Bizarre things that happened in your assembly: our headteacher was a very strait laced school marm. EXCEPT for when Freddie Mercury died. She called a special assembly, played his music, explained what AIDS and HIV was, even cried. I was 6 and had never heard of FM or Queen. What a woman

Bizarre things that happened in your assembly: each Friday a different teacher spoke on their topic of choice. One day an ancient English teacher overran by HALF AN HOUR, eating almost the whole first lesson. But I was late that day, so I was on my own thinking there'd been some sort of apocalypse.

A male gynaecology consultant told me "if you want to talk about that 'girly stuff' I'll have to get a woman in here"

A question from Reddit that I'll answer here: "What's the most unhinged thing a doctor has said to you with a straight face?"
