North Carolina's win over SDSU on Tuesday earned the Tar Heels a huge +56.1 game efficiency score, the team's highest all season. It was also UNC's best-rated defensive performance of the year and their third-best offensive performance of the year. UNC is now #3 nationally in our Momentum metric.

Here's the updated "10/35 Rule" graphic from Haslametrics.com. Through the games of Selection Sunday, the eventual National Champion was top-10 in offensive efficiency and top-35 in defensive efficiency every season since our website was founded in 2014-15.

Normally, you get about three or four teams that qualify. This year, we have SEVEN: 🔴 Duke (1st OE/3rd DE) 🔴 Auburn (2nd/10th) 🔴 Florida (3rd/4th) 🔴 Houston (5th/1st) 🔴 Texas Tech (6th/22nd) 🔴 Alabama (7th/25th) 🔴 Arizona (8th/30th)

The final set of home-brewed Bracketology Deserves this season. A reminder that the Deserves are uniquely based on a blanket algorithm and utilize criteria similar to the Selection Committee's -- except that all the metrics used are sourced from Haslametrics.com.
