The Detroit Metro Times just made U.S. history, cutting off a candidate, Mike Rogers' campaign for repeated lies and bigoted attacks against Abdul El-Sayed's Muslim faith. Instead of answering for his fake credentials, Rogers pushed a trash, baseless lie that El-Sayed funded terrorists. Disgusting.

Mike Rogers was just caught on tape talking about how he wanted to make sure that there were retired cops who could intimidate voters in the city of Detroit. We deserve the right to vote. People have fought and died for that right. No more election deniers.

You deserve politicians that aren't bought off by corporations. You deserve better than a war that we're fighting aimlessly that raises your gas and grocery prices. You deserve to look your kids in the eye and know that their country's going to be better for them.
