Learning macOS: Find it a little odd that ⌘TAB to switch apps won't bring minimized apps back to the front and fully restored. Seems this is one reason why folks prefer using ⌘H to hide windows instead of minimizing them (⌘M or the yellow minimize button).

The startup time on the new Visual Studio 2026 preview is really impressive. Even for a very large 100+ project solution, it opens in just a few seconds.

This weekend's project was a Python script I can use to finally rename years of photos and videos taken on our phones based on their EXIF data so they're sorted correctly and far easier to navigate and organize. github.com/gusper/Phone...
