There's a "Why do we need this?" question here and Apple's video doesn't answer it. You need to think you want it if you're going to buy it. And even if you already had a HomeView set up, I'm not sure how often you'd use it instead of your phone or just talking to it like a screenless HomePod.

The low-hanging fruit is Blanche and maybe half a dozen others involved with the "fund." You campaign on putting them in prison, no one will stop you. "Intent to defraud," "two billion of your money to insurrectionists, crooks..." No one dares. That's how you get people used to the idea.
