What an absolutely insane take

flyingrodent@flyingrodent.bsky.social

Yeah, bad news folks: you know how everything in Britain has been increasingly generous, functional, rational, pleasant and generally awesome for the last twenty years or so? Well I’m afraid the party is over for you greedy pigs: it’s time for you to suck up some real pain. Thanks

"Officers attended" Aye, I bet they did.

Love Glasgow Hate Racism@lghr.bsky.social

“Officers attended and engaged with those involved. There were no arrests. Campaigning and demonstration are a legitimate, necessary and vital part of life" Interesting tactic from Police Scotland who routinely kettle antifascist groups while they attempt to peacefully protest. shorturl.at/QCf7N

I know all eyes are on Brazil, but there's also good news in Serbia! And funny news from British Columbia... There is hope, where people stand strong and don't bend their will to the fascists.

"Why was Sharon so upset?" Because four blokes decided to steamroller the decision and take control without properly consulting the team. And she's a woman against four very famous and loud male celebrities #CelebrityTraitors

Gregor/Fisher reposted

Honestly, this episode has drove me mad with Sharon being targeted because she ‘didn’t speak up’ at the mission when two grown adult men have already decided who they wanted to get the power 🙄 #celebritytraitors

MrAdamR@mradamr.bsky.social

Sharon getting banished due to toxic masculinity is the absolute worst. And James B and Michael will come out untouched #CelebrityTraitors

This, from the hugely experienced Irish courts reporter, Isabel Hayes, on the Minister for Justice’s performative outrage over an ad about children and consent, is worth reading.

She got a private sit down with the first Labour prime minister since 2010. She funds groups who have changed literal laws. She’s got a 2 part documentary coming. She has so much money she set up a foundation to defend people from lawsuits. What is not elite about that you fucking morons.

The guy not only admitted he didn't know what PHP is until yesterday. He also referred to “researchers at PHP” as though it were a company.

John O’Donnell@jodami.bsky.social

Maybe the BBC should get someone who actually knows what he is talking about then.

Aaaaaaaaaaand she bought it from Johnny Depp, because she's such a protector of women and girls...

Kathy O'Donnell@kathyodonnell.bsky.social

On the morning JK Rowling calls those who have campaigned for the human rights of trans people "elitist", let's revisit her 300ft, $150m highly-polluting environment and climate wrecking machine. It says everything about who and what she is. Share far and wide.

Burnhamism is fines for people playing music on buses, while leaving the economic system intact, drilling for more oil and gas, arming genocide, demonising and deporting migrants, cutting benefits to the disabled, persecuting trans people, making teenagers work for free and calling it jobs.

This is response is absolutely fucking wild Frances seems very upset that we're not all on our knees genuflecting her beloved Burnham while he kills our friends, so has been calling us Russian bots She is completely incapable of responding in good faith here

Frances Ryan@francesryan.bsky.social

I’ve written about this stuff for 15 years, including a book (Crippled: Austerity and the Demonisation of Disabled People). It’s just completely false to say I don’t know the origins of the WCA or that I haven’t written that down for the public.

She's not alone though, there have been so many labour-leaning people trying to make this point this week, saying we should give them more time and space, in the week that they stopped us accessing safe healthcare or existing safely in the civil service.

Somewhat ironically, that's more indicative of coordinated responses than the trans people in her responses... We are not a game. We are not a pawn in your red team Vs blue team nonsense. We just want the rights that everyone should be afforded, rights which YOUR TEAM are removing on a daily basis.

Of course she calls herself an ally but has admitted that she's got no idea what Bridget Phillipson has said about us, and professionally she writes for one of the most transphobic papers in the country Safe in her bubble, telling us that we're wrong about our rights under this government..

Gregor/Fisher reposted

Great microcosm of British transphobia. A trans woman is sitting doing absolutely nothing and hurting nobody, but a member of our political elite on £98k/yr finds her appearance disagreeable so wants her legally excluded

Jordan@jordanpfot.bsky.social

What a heartless, cruel thing for an elected representative to say.

Is this good?

Natacha@natacha.bsky.social

I REALLY don’t understand why so many people think Andy Burnham is “progressive”. He hasn’t even been in office for three months and we already have a book ban. A BOOK BAN. What comes next…?

Movie posters that could only be put up in British railway stations, one of a series of probably one.

The "neutral" BBC are gonna glaze JKR The same week they digitally erase pro-trans messages on a t-shirt but leave up anti-trans messages on a t-shirt Eurgh!

I don’t know if anyone remembers former Labour councillor, change UK defector, and regular Twitter main character Frances Weetman, or her creepy reply guy, occasional Twitter main character and arch-transphobe Alex ‘Rubie’ Rubner but they’ve just had a massive falling out over race science. part 1/2

I really feel like the EU should be investing in more high speed train lines. Outwith Dublin/Valletta/Nicosia, all the capitals should be connected, at least, imho. The fact there's not a decent line between say, Lisbon and Madrid is just ridic? Cut the number of internal flights!

www.flightradar24.com/blog/aviatio... Some of these are trickier to tackle because of Geography (and mostly outwith the EU), but showing that it's possible to move short haul flight demand to alternatives will be best for the environment, and solve some airport capacity issues!

I was a little behind with the #traitors but I'm really glad Amol's dead. Not only is he a smug little prick but we have to protect Bella from his transphobia.

It's so fucking weird that nationalist parties/groups in Scotland/Wales/NI suddenly become anti-devolution when it comes to the rights of trans people...

Gwrach Gymraeg@cherylmorgan.bsky.social

Fascinating. The motion doesn’t mention trans rights at all, it is about equalities law in general, but Nation.Cymru, normally a big fan of devolved rights, is against this because it might benefit trans people. nation.cymru/news/plaid-c...

I need to make two very separate points about this. Both are bleak AF. 1) These are not "legitimate concerns" about women's safety, this is espousing the murder of innocent trans people. The GC mob want a genocide and nothing less. 2) Why the FUCK are there trans people working for our oppressors?

Nothing says you're an ally like asking us for our opinions and then blocking us all when we reply lolololol Labour are a joke

The Brexit Blocklist@brexitblocklist.bsky.social

Prior to last night Nathan had only ever blocked 4 bsky accounts. Since 29/09/2026 22:57 he has blocked 58 accounts, overwhelmingly made up of trans women. His most recent block was @oinkophobia.bsky.social at 12:30 today.

Genuinely, but how would be able to rejoin the EU when we are currently in contravention of so much established law, in our strange obsession with banning trans people from public life? Answer that, centrist, annoying, piss-diamond-FBPE types.
