Alright, it's the weekend and I thought I'd better post this one more time in case you missed it! (sometimes we hear from people weeks/months later who didn't release we released our game for example) bsky.app/profile/grey...

DLC ANNOUNCEMENT! Just when you thought the card-flipping horrors were over... new secrets are unearthed. Introducing a brand new story-driven DLC, Forbidden Solitaire: The Discarded! Please wishlist and share: store.steampowered.com/app/5238350/... New levels, enemies, jokers, sigils + more!

I saw people proposing that 9/25 be "Dolly Day". I heartily endorse this idea! It's perfect.

Today, I want to pull back the curtain on Hokusai 3 — going into TestFlight beta testing soon, I'm looking for plenty of people to kick the tyres. Rewritten from the ground up, with a beautiful, colourful new design and a _whole bunch_ of the most requested features!

For a junk drawer to legally qualify as a real junk drawer, what is the ONE absolute mandatory item it must include? A business card from a local business you've never used

for a junk drawer to legally qualify as a real junk drawer, what is the ONE absolute mandatory item it must include? a mysterious key that does not unlock any thing

Hugging Face just published a highly detailed technical account of OpenAI's accidental cyberattack on their systems - it's wild how sophisticated this was: huggingface.co/blog/agent-i... Wrote up some of my own notes here: simonwillison.net/2026/Jul/28/...

After 16 years of Viktor Orbán's rule, Hungary's state television has suspended its news broadcasts for restructuring. The main state TV channel, M1, displayed a black screen with the following message: "Public media must not lie. We apologize for doing so for many years."

I'm working on the final Rec Room sound track release today... any RR-related music I should be sure to include?

Well, that's a wrap for Rec Room. 10 years to the day after launching on Steam, we turned off the servers. Highest concurrency in years, but the servers held! And our Steam reviews were "Overwhelmingly Positive" for our last day =]

What a project. Will have more to say later. But for today: To everyone who was a part of Rec Room - thank you [|=)]

Instant purchase for me. Reason has been a creative happy place for me for twenty years now. As a DAW user (as opposed to Reason Rack) I'm really excited for the workflow improvements here.

It can't be said often enough, so I'll say it again: Solar and batteries can power the world! It's cheaper than gas (esp. at today's prices) and a lot more reliable. By 2030, solar and batteries could supply 90% of electricity to 80% of the world's population for < €80/MWh (including backup).

If ya'll could boost my game I'd very much appreciate it! Trying to get to 50 reviews for the Steam algorithm. I already have glowing reviews from the likes of Raigan Burns (N++) and Daniel Linssen (Leap Year) and just need a handful more. Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/3641010/...

Wind & solar are currently producing 65% of Britain's electricity. Meanwhile, renewables now offer 30,000 more UK jobs than oil and gas. Meanwhile, we're in a climate emergency. Meanwhile, we're in a fossil fuel supply crisis. Meanwhile, the Tories and Reform want to scrap Net Zero. grid.iamkate.com

Open up this picture fully. Then look at the surface of Mars. Then look up to the top right. Spot Mars' moon Phobos high in the sky. Then notice the bright spot beside Phobos. That's Earth.
