'It matters which side we choose. Even if there will never be more light than darkness. Even if there can be no more joy in the galaxy than there is pain. For every action we undertake, for every word we speak, for every life we touch - it matters.'

I voted today, and I'm proud to say that it wasn't for the Dems

man...my whole attitude to my job has changed. little annoyances that I would shrug off when I was happy and intended to stay are ten times more vexing now that I'm pissed off and planning to leave. perspective really is everything.

A pair of good boys for my campaign crew. I might paint up the dog real quick since I do absolutely love one colour models

that's the strategy! starve the public services then bring the private sector in to cover the gaps and then, once people are acclimatised to private medical services, shift toward a medicare style system that funnels public money into private healthcare

Gonna be a lot of boomers who experience debt collectors for the first time as a result of refusing to pay their tiaki wai bills, and you know what? Good for them. Its never too late to broaden your range of experiences.

Kalla's Blessing continues to be both cheese and absolutely required if you're playing on Classic

An Alleyway Echo. Built him earlier today and he as no imminent need to see table, but as a one colour model I thought it simplest just to paint him and get him out of the way.

I could do hobby that needs doing, or I could paint the Alleyway Echo because he is only one colour anyway

Baal Red WAS the right shade of red, he is a very bright red greebly, but this particular paint kind of lacks any pigmentation difference in the recesses, so I might have to hit it with a wash anyway

as expected, a hit of flesh shade has gone a really long way. he still looks pure red without looking flat

ok now that the shadow door markers are done I should probably, uh, work on the models

genshin needs to stop doing fucking stealth sections jesus christ

I'm a simple man. I hear your really loud vehicle, and I assume you are compensating for something.

So, effectively we're hosting a US military base - a big fat target for someone else's missiles - and we don't get visibility over what is done from our soil. Fuck that. Kick the yanks out.

Me: you might see a slowly rotating roster so I don't need to print too many cards each week Me, three weeks later: *prints 8 new cards*

found out that my mother in law decided she was aggressively pro trans rights literally by going, I don't know anything about this but everyone who is against trans rights is also against free school lunch, the issue I know and care a lot about, so this must be the correct way to feel about this

I love it when I do a test paint and it looks exactly like I thought it would. Its not a common experience for me.

Base design for the Department of Ungentlemanly Affairs. Dead simple (thats just a single, heavy hit of Basilicanum Grey), but I think it nails their shadow portal motif.

I looked up meme videos for 20 minutes and my recommendations are fuuuuucked lmao

#nzpol Simple explanation. Power here primarily generated by water being pushed over dam making turbines turn. Dams & turbines were built by previous generations for us. Sadly, in interim, price of gravity (required to push water over dam) has soared. So cost must be passed on to consumers. 🙏🏾.

Some people really don't understand how little someone making minimum wage is going to care about their bullshit, huh.

Oh, the bathroom had no paper, so now you're going to eat somewhere else? That's nice. Have fun with that

Dietrich's Act 1 is done. It was a bit of a slog, especially at the start, and very much the weakest of the three I've done so far. Onwards to Theodora!

Hmph. Fortuna's Blessing can't save a unit if you win the battle during the enemy's turn before you get a chance to use it! Rude.

Funny. I bought the Criid box, but now its looking like none of those models are making my starting crew lmao

I shot a man in Reno as part of the city's annual man-shooting contest, where I placed third overall in perfectly legal and ethically sound game of skill for which I was awarded accolades and prize money. You'd have to be a real sick puppy to shoot someone in Reno for any other reason.

I am not happy at work and there is a certain pleasure to be had in emailing in hungover from before the hangover starts what are you going to do, fire me? bet, motherfuckers.

The amount that Granblue being a PHP app surprises me is zero

My 'waifs and strays' 40k collection has really gone up a size category today, and at a glance mostly with armies I have little or none of. I've got a chunk of entertainment ahead sorting and storing it in with the rest! Shout out to @understatesmen.bsky.social for the impressive pile of plastic ❤️

oh it's bad. oh it's BAD bad. oh this is CATASTROPHIC, drop-whatever-you're-doing-and-patch-NOW levels of bad cert.europa.eu/publications...

these Calligraphers have been the worst horse shit to assemble I've encountered from Wyrd so far, but they are done now and I can move on to things that suck less

Hmm. The extractor fan intake in my bathroom is dripping. It should not be doing that.
