It is a beautiful day today in Serbia. After 14 years, Vučić and SNS have been defeated. The students of Serbia showed that protesting and mobilizing can bring change. We celebrate alongside our Member Party Zeleno Levi Front.

The people of Brazil stood up for people and planet. The people chose a future of hope, nature conservation, social equality & protection of human rights Congratulations to Lula on his fourth mandate as President. The people stood up against the far right and they won!

Throughout the 16 years that Orbán was in power in Hungary, Greens supported those who were fighting back against his autocratic changes. 🌈We will continue to support our partners, including civil society, in Hungary, until democracy and the rule of law, is fully restored.

Next Monday/Tuesday, we @greens-efa.eu will join the Flamingo protests in Tirana and Vjosa-Narta. The Albanian government has sold this precious nature reserve to the superrich Trump clan to turn it into a luxury tourist resort. We urge for an immediate halt to this destruction and to any bribery.

Last year, 300,000 people united for freedom, love, and equal rights at Budapest Pride. We are again experiencing record-breaking #heat in #Europe, and feeling the impacts on our wallet, our #health, our sleep, our work. Yet, #ClimateAction continues to be delayed by #FossilFuel interests. The EU must side with the people, not polluters. Before today's records become the norm.

Infinite growth is a doomed strategy. If you're looking for an easy solution to your problems, look up, not down. When a handful of oligarchs have so much money they can buy power, we all loose. That's why we need to tax the 1% what they owe to society & invest that money where we all benefit.
