The killing of Alex Pretti and the grotesque lying was an overreach by the administration. They've paid a price and had to pull back a bit. But it's when there's some disarray that the democratic opposition needs to intensify the offensive, and turn a marginal tactical success into a major victory.

There are no longer huddled masses at the Statue of Liberty. Instead, we see ICE agents terrorizing our cities. Our government no longer believes that its power comes from the consent of the governed. Instead, Trump believes power comes from threats and force.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

All 10 shots were fired AFTER they removed the gun from Pretti’s waist. Every single shot was fired after he was disarmed.

Shutting the government down because the president’s thug army keeps murdering American citizens for no reason seems pretty reasonable, IMO!

MN Doctor: I learned that Renee Good still had a pulse 8 minutes after she was shot by an ICE agent. Yet the offer to administer aid from a physician on the scene was denied.
