Elouyn 💖 4.0 DEBUT 30th OCTOBER!
@elouyn.me

As a reminder, it's in the name: AltStream is not, nor has it ever branded itself as "The Twitch Killer". It's a brand new indie streaming platform aiming to be an alternative to the shit that we have to deal with nowadays. Extremely anti-GenAI, pro-human, pro-LGBTQIA+. The devs truly give a shit. 💖

AltStream.Online@altstream.online

Sick of twitch and want to help an alternative platform grow? We are currently building our coffers up to pay for business expenses, but the sooner we get that sorted the sooner we can expand our hardware fleet! If you would like to support us check out our support page! altstream.online/support

when AI was 1st announced we all thought it would take away low lvl repetitive jobs no one liked opening up other positions. Instead it's slurping up creative industries and platforming lazy 'content' creation by brain dead ppl who refuse to learn the skills by themselves. Garbage timeline we're in.

I would rather die then ask a fucking bot to make an illustration or edit 1 of my videos for me. Ppl try to twist this into an accessibility issue when they can't do something but nah. It's not that at all. Ppl with disabilities have been figuring things out THIS WHOLE TIME without AI. Fuck off.

While this is accurate and I suspect someone does need to hear it— Disabled people need your advocacy because we are disabled now. I sincerely hope by the time it catches up with the nondisabled people reading this we’re in a better place, but we are radically endangered right now. Help us.

Sage not liking horror movies is extremely on brand considering she's living in one that makes it so she has to watch her teammates die over and over :)

People are like "be careful of that trans woman, she was socialised male so she's dangerous" and then you look at her and see the most timid creature in the world who has never heard "I love you" from someone who didn't hurt her

got woken up early as hell this morning to go vote in my local/state elections... then I had a poll worker rudely question my gender identity right in front of me with her coworker. At this point I totally brush off such instances but it's still annoying. My identity isn't important 2 u, fuck off.

It's somewhat funny to me because they were arguing over if I was male or female... Jokes totally on them, I'm neither. Should have cut in with that but I was still half asleep, lol.

lil ghost gunbuddy has NO RIGHT being that cute. still tbh i think the goodboy capsule was better. that aside, i kinda hate this emerging trend. selling these mini-capsules at ridiculous prices. why can't they sell skins the same way? why must they be shitty in the BP or cost a kidney? #Valorant

a lot of creators who migrate here fail because they don't understand you can't just play off an algorithm and solely post ur content. this place awards connection and community. Talk to ppl, repost stuff you like, and be a actual person. 1/?

@goodboyroxy.bsky.social

I gained a fuck ton of followers here by just chatting with people in replies over stuff, getting added to starter packs, and reposting stuff i want others 2 see too. this place isn't a content farm or ad space. more like a town square we all chill in. 2/?

If you treat this place like X, Instagram, or any of the other bigger socials you'll fail for sure. Cultivate genuine connections and sharing happiness you'll see the beauty in it's users. 3/3
