Analysts defending democracy are calling for a Constitutional Convention. This is pure fantasy. SCOTUS has given POTUS absolute power. My 7th grade Social Studies teacher told us: "Power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely". As the MAGA say: Do your own research!

It is OK to get angry with your LLM Chat tools. In fact, if you are working on difficult projects, it is absolutely necessary to get angry. The emotion itself does not have an effect. The words used when you are angry does.

This is the ultimate proof: If Trump wants peace, he turns Starlink back on and allows Ukraine to use it against Russia. If not, Trump wants war and is an obstacle to peace.

MAKS 26 👀🇺🇦@maks23.bsky.social

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky: We told our American partners: Switch on Starlink in those parts of Russia where they launch ballistic missiles. Why must we all be under attack? Why must all of Europe be afraid that Russian ballistic missiles will reach European territory? Switch on Starlink. We will do it.

Jeffrey Toobin's NYTimes OP/ED and Emily Bazelon's conversation with David French have convinced me that: A new American Constitution is needed under Article 5. The first step is the drafting of a New US Constitution. I will begin. Let us make the impossible, possible.

This Constitution establishes representative institutions, an independent judiciary with expressly defined and limited powers of judicial review, a Federal Reserve serving defined public monetary purposes, 4/x

We, the people of the United States, establish this Constitution to secure and preserve a democratic republic founded on political equality, individual liberty, accountable government, and equal justice. 2/x

Sovereignty resides in the people. All governmental authority derives from them and shall be exercised only under the powers granted, and within the limits imposed, by this Constitution. The people retain the right to alter this Constitution through its prescribed democratic procedures. 3/x

Why do I struggle even reading papers that are clearly AI? Writing is a window into another person’s brain, their thinking, values, and outlook. When I read AI text, I mostly feel they shortchanged themselves and me by not offering that.

We know there is an insurrection because Musk and Trump have conspired to throttle access to Starlink for the Ukraine, And, Trump has specifically invalidated Congress' directive NOT to reduce sanctions against Russia. These are acts of sedition, treason, and insurrection.

There is an insurrection taking place right now led by Musk and Trump. These treasonous American citizens are supporting the murderous Russian Czar to kill people in Ukraine, and to arm our declared enemy Iran. What kind of GOP excuse for a human can let them get away with this?

@chrispappasnh.bsky.social is in a tough race for the Senate against a fmr Professor at Tufts contemperaneous with my graduarte work. I only met Sununu once, at the 1979 reception for Allan Cormack who had won a Nobel Prize in Physics. Pappas says he is being drowned out by money. Probably true

Every scientist should review the story of the funding of the Telegraph. That story reveals that democracy was and is essential to invention. And, that the US is no longer a democracy looking to the future. It is something to ponder.

Observation: Decades in Science have taught me that Wealthy Individuals who become scientists do better than hardworking poor scientists. Hypothesis: This is frequently the case. Although the data is difficult to secure, this hypothesis should be tested.

Threatening political violence is a direct threat to democracy. Why, oh why, are so many opposed to democracy? Are they just uneducated and low information? Does the American subconscious require violence for fulfillment? www.nytimes.com/2026/10/11/u...

Jack Smith: "Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in serious crimes against our nation ... rather than accept his defeat in the 2020 election, he engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results and prevent the lawful transfer of power"

He gives every indication he would blindly follow the law, in which case it wouldn't by definition be weaponization and would by definition fulfill his obligations.

this is a terrific statement.

🔥JACK SMITH: "Trump engaged in serious crimes against 🇺🇸- a criminal scheme to prevent a lawful transfer of power... the rule of law faces challenges unlike any we've experienced. I won't be silenced by threats of prosecution. While fear may be contagious, courage is as well."

Nota Bene: Sanctioning a President who is in Contempt of Court, refusing to observe the First Amendment, as a personal and political vendetta, is NOT an "Official" action presumed to have legal immunity. It is also not subject to DOJ's policy of not prosecuting a sitting President.

American Courts, having not ruled against Trump's violation of the Bill of Rights, specifically Freedom of the Press, are ethically and legally bankrupt. There is no excuse for this level of anti-democratic miscarrige of justice in America. SCOTUS be damned.

60 yrs ago, I grew up lower middle-class in Queens & went to a terrible JHS (192) & was zoned for a bad High School (Jackson), in a predominantly black school district. I used every means to go somewhere else & prospered from my choices. Martyrdom is a foolish choice. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/20/m...

nytimes.comIn Fighting for Every Black Child, Did I Betray My Own?A decade ago, I made a decision about my daughter’s education that I hoped would challenge New York City’s separate and unequal school system. Now 16, she thinks I made the wrong choice.

SCOTUS, INCLUDING THE LIBERALS: You have violated your oaths by failing to enjoin Trump from regulating News Media at the Whitehouse. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES AND RESIGN IF YOU CAN'T RULE PROPERLY AND CONSTITUTIONALLY. YOU ARE A BLIGHT ON YOUR PROFESSION.

Proof that the game is rigged shows up as SCOTUS fails to make an emergency ruling to restore FREEDOM OF THE PRESS through an injunction against POTUS' "Executive Order". The United States Government is a bad joke.

Solar passed nuclear in Texas 2 years ago. Now it's double. Texas is what makes this chart powerful. This isn't green ideology winning. It's pure economics. Solar is cheap, modular, scalable & incredibly fast to deploy. Wind keeps growing too. When economics take over, ideology becomes irrelevant.
