Friends, they’re not even trying to hide their voter suppression. ⬇️

Michelle and I loved reading to this bright group of kids today! We hope this new Chicago Public Library branch at the Obama Presidential Center will be a place where folks come to read, check out books, and connect with one another for years to come.

This is the most Presidential thing I’ve seen in 1 year and 5 months. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Michelle Obama: "No one has the right to sit in judgment of who is American enough. And that's why, folks, we simply don't have the luxury or time to be cynical or complacent."

It's so refreshing to see some positivity and unity. Stevie Wonder sounds fantastic. Such a contrast. Just joyful and inspiring. Springsteen, Bono and Stevie Wonder help the Obamas open their presidential museum - Los Angeles Times share.google/rUeZ48iF8p0p...

We used to have presidents who exhibited character, honesty, integrity, kindness, and empathy. Those are all things that I think all of us long for once again. We were reminded today by Barack Obama that we can have that.

Michelle Obama: You were doing the people's work, rescuing our economy, expanding health care, ending a war, ordering the bin laden raid, saving an auto industry, winning a peace prize.

What a day to be on the South Side for the opening of the Obama Presidential Center.

To George and Laura, Bill and Hillary — we're grateful for your friendship, counsel, and devotion to this country. And to Joe and Jill, thank you for being on this journey with us.

The guy who bankrupted casinos decided to improve the Reflecting Pool with our money. Things are going about as well as I expected.

trump will NEVER beat President Obama. He is smarter. He is classier. He is better in every way. trump's deal will NOT measure up.

It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby—a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist—to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.

Trump is going after public officials who oppose him while rewarding allies, convicted fraudsters, and January 6 rioters with pardons and favors funded by taxpayers. That’s not justice — it’s political retribution. We won’t be intimidated, and we won’t be silent.

A Michelle Obama Appreciation Post: I deeply admire your elegance, graciousness, beauty, accomplishments, relatability & effortless class. Thank you for being one of the greatest First Ladies of all time!🙏 Much ❤️ from one of your countless fans, Mar🐫

This ⬇️ is a real American hero! Congresswoman Joyce Beatty is a Kennedy Center trustee who sued after the unlawful renaming of the center. Late Friday her suit prevailed and the center’s rightful name was restored. Thank you @repbeatty.bsky.social, we love you! ❤️

What an absolute mess and a complete disgrace!

Ossoff: He’s trying to put his face on the money. He's building a monument to himself . But see, Atlanta, he's doing these things now because no one will honor him when he’s gone… because he's a failed president and a national disgrace.

Kamala was going to give $20,000 to first time home buyers… Trump is giving $1.7 Billion of OUR TAX MONEY to traitors/insurrectionists… See the difference?!

Corruption in plain sight. It will take a decade to fix this debacle. #TrumpCorruption

Something sweet to end the day. It's from the Hummingbirds community on Reddit.

Which is the backwards country now, United States?

Oh, the people who blow up ships are the bad guys? Huh.

People want childcare not chandeliers.

I'm pissed off for everyone that this hits harder for than the rest of us. I cannot imagine the feeling of being a minority citizen in Trump's AmeriKKKa.

Stupid, ignorant...not usually words associated with the president.

Epstein's suicide note has been sealed in a NYC courthouse for 7 years. His cellmate found it in a graphic novel. Federal investigators never saw it. Documents were shredded outside the jail during the active investigation. The NYT is petitioning to unseal it. Watch this.

9-11 months of hard work by the FBI to determine if the seashells were a threat against the president. What an elite, efficient agency it is under Kash.

Did you hear the latest? Supposed shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Fake news. Guarantee it's some bullshit staged thing. Good thing Faux News was there to cover it.😅

I’m at an NBA playoff game tonight and will not be covering Trump’s post-gunman press conference, which I’m sure will be deeply unsettling and weird. Congrats, America.

Sure seems like it would be easier to just release the Epstein Files than to do war and staged assassinations.

Oh by the way…. The economy is in the shitter Prices are too high The war has failed Our health care system has been battered Everyone hates us Trump is epically corrupt and historically unpopular And tomorrow is Sunday.

MADELEINE DEAN: Why did you lie to the New York Post about your relationship with Epstein? LUTNICK: The House Oversight Committee and I agreed-- DEAN: Reclaiming my time. I do not accept that answer. We are our own committee. You're dodging the question. The coverup continues.

On this day in 2019, I witnessed one of the coolest things ever. A lenticular cloud lit-up by a setting sun over the Perito Morena Glacier in Argentina.

So true

Today, President Barack Obama and I read to a group of toddlers at Learning Through Play Pre-K Center in the South Bronx.  In between singing wheels on the bus, we discussed our administration’s vision for this City — one where New York’s Cutest have the strongest start possible.
