I made a benchmark comparing Claude Code and Codex stacking using `gh stack` vs `but` `but` ⋈ ofc also uses the native @github.com stacks and "just works"™ ❤️ bench repo: github.com/gitbutlerapp...

⋈ GitButler v0.22.0 is out with full support for native @github.com stacked PRs. It's the easiest way to get your Claude Code or Codex to fluently stack. Have multiple agent sessions operate on different parts of the stack in parallel, it 'just works' docs.gitbutler.com/ai-agents/ov...
we did some pretty cool evals trying to determine how gb stacks up against Git and Jujutsu when being used by agents. while we assumed `but` would be better than Git since the CLI is optimized for that, I was surprised by JJ's benchmarks. blog.gitbutler.com/vcbench
⋈ gb 0.21.0 is out! The main new thing is that the app now supports the "push to main" workflow (skipping the PR). 🔨 Also, the TUI got a major performance bump when navigating huge diffs. 🏎️ And last but not least, there's an option to AI-resolve merge conflicts. 🤖 github.com/gitbutlerapp...
we are testing a "skip the PR" (a.k.a. merge to main) workflow support. if you wanna try it early, check out the latest nightly and try the `but land <branch>` command. and do share any feedback you have! gitbutler.com/nightly
if u live in the terminal, `but tui` is probably the fastest way to organize your git commits and stack your branches. check out our very own @scottchacon.com showing off how inTUItive it is ❤️📺
recently realised that we had ZERO docs on the GB tui - and it is a pretty neat tui if I may brag. it has a bunch of tricks that the desktop app doesn’t so here’s the first batch of GitButler TUI docs - docs.gitbutler.com/gitbutler-tui

Check this out for how you can set up and tune your Claude Code or Codex or Cursor bot to use gb and tune it to your liking docs.gitbutler.com/ai-agents/ov...

I used @gitbutler.com over the last couple days and I see a lot of potential. But I don't enjoy the permanent window switching so I decided to make a small @intellijidea.com plugin for it. plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/31299...
