Lovely to welcome our pupils back after the October break & hear their news 😃 Getting back into routines can be tricky, so we’re taking it a step at a time. Our Support Spaces are here for a catch-up, a bit of reassurance & help settling back into the school day 💛🖤

In our ASN spaces & classrooms, we talk with pupils about taking a pause when emotions feel big. 💜 The STOP skill helps us practise stepping back, noticing how we feel & choosing what to do next. A small pause can make a big difference.

Some days, getting through the school doors is the big achievement. Other days, it’s asking for help, joining in or giving something another go. Whatever progress looks like for you today, we see it & we’re proud of you 💛🖤

We’ve made it to the end of the week! 😃 If it’s been a busy one, take a breath & give yourself credit for getting through it. A wee Friday reminder: speak kindly to yourself, take time to recharge & remember that you are important. You are always enough. 💛🖤

A wee reminder that you’re only human. You are going to experience high & lows. Just remember nothing is permanent. Try to learn to live in the moment & let your feelings & emotions pass through. They are only visiting. #feelings #emotions #selfgrowth

This is something we talk though with pupils often. A panic attack can feel terrifying.Your heart races, breathing changes & fear feeds the symptoms. Pause, breathe slowly, name what’s happening & focus on the next few minutes. Panic passes. You are not failing—your body’s alarm is in overdrive.

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. There is always someone ready to listen & support you. Please reach out to someone you trust or use one of these helpful support services. You matter 💙 #SuicideAwarenessDay

Waking up anxious can feel like your body has started the day in an emergency. Pause, breathe out slowly & focus on one small step—you don’t need to solve the whole day at once. An anxious morning doesn’t mean the whole day is ruined. Be gentle with yourself. 💛

🍂 Hello September 🍂 A new month can bring fresh starts, but it can also feel challenging. 💛 Our Support Spaces are here to help our young people feel cared for & supported as we build Respect, Resilience, Responsibility & Ambition together. 💛🖤 One day at a time. 🥰

And just like that… we’ve made it to the weekend! 🙌It’s been one of those weeks where Friday felt a long way away! Now for a couple of days to switch off, recharge, enjoy the little things & reset before we do it all again on Monday! 💛🖤

Thinking of all our young people receiving their results today. ☘️ Wishing you the very best of luck. Whatever today brings, remember that your results don’t define you. There are many different paths to success, so keep believing in yourself & your future. 💛🖤 #NoWrongPath #EveryJourneyIsDifferent

💛 School may be closed for summer, but support doesn’t take a holiday. If you need someone to talk to or you’re finding things difficult, please reach out. Help is available and you don’t have to cope on your own. 💛🖤 #YouAreNotAlone

Father’s Day can bring many emotions. 💙 For some it’s a day of celebration, while for others it may bring grief, loss or sadness. Whatever today means for you, it’s okay to feel how you feel. Be kind to yourself & remember you don’t have to face those feelings alone. 💙

As we head into the final few weeks of school, it’s normal to feel tired or overwhelmed. 💛 If you need this reminder today….. 💛 Be kind to yourself 💜 Reach out if you need support 💙 Take time to recharge ❤️ Self-care isn’t selfish #TakeCareOfYourself

🤩 There really are no words! Mrs Brown, Mrs Edwards & Mrs Scott have just watched one of the most spectacular school shows we’ve ever seen. Watching our young people shine with confidence & find where they belong was so special. We couldn’t be prouder. Not a dry eye between us! 🥹✨

Change isn’t always easy. As pupils settle into new timetables today, it’s important to remember that feeling nervous or uncertain is completely normal. Talking about worries can help make new routines feel more manageable. 💜 #MentalWellbeing #ReadyToLearn #YouveGotThis

☀️ The sun is shining today — so get outside for some fresh air when you can. Whether it’s at break, lunchtime or after school, a little daylight can help boost mood, focus & energy levels, leaving you feeling more refreshed 🌤️😌

School can get busy, so don’t forget to pause and breathe. 💜 Taking a few slow, deep breaths can help calm stress, clear your mind, and reset your focus. Inhale slowly, exhale gently, and give yourself a moment to recharge. You’ve got this!

Pupils enjoyed playing UNO during #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek 💙 This year’s theme, “Take Action”, reminds us that simple activities like playing together, laughing and connecting can support positive wellbeing every day. #TakeActionForMentalHealth #WellbeingInSchools #PositiveMinds

🎶 This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, Take action for your mental health by listening to music that lifts your mood 💜 Music can help us relax, feel connected, & reset during tough days. What song gives you a boost? Share below 👇🎧

This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week theme is “Take Action.” 💚 Don’t wait for someone to ask for help — start the conversation, check in on your friends, include others, and speak up if someone is struggling. Small proactive steps can make a real difference. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

Sometimes Monday mornings can be a struggle, & it can feel a bit overwhelming to get going. Remember you are doing a great job & you are amazing at being you. You can do it!! this! 😊 #MondayMotivation #positivemindset #MondayMood

3 small words that can mean so much. Over the last few days senior pupils have dropped in to say bye & seek reassurance before they set off on their next chapter. A final reminder from us was to keep believing in themselves just as much as we do 💜 Every child needs a champion!

👋 Good Morning! As we return back to school today after our break, try to remember that every day is a fresh start for us all. For some returning to school is a challenge, however we are here to support our pupils with their emotions & all that comes with the return to school.
