Our priority will be to fork and revive key, unmaintained Angular projects to ensure they stay secure, updated, and community-driven.

A lot of open-source projects don't fail over time because the idea was bad. They fail because maintaining them is a lonely journey, and finding a successor is incredibly difficult.

We saw this recently when the ngneat organization vanished from GitHub, leaving critical tools like ngneat/spectator missing from the Angular ecosystem. If we do not know why, when such a major project disappears overnight, the whole community feels the impact.

That’s why a group of Angular community members and I have teamed up to create a new GitHub organization dedicated to collective open-source governance and long-term maintenance. The GitHub Organization, OpenNG Foundation, is still empty.

My Keep/Stop/Start 2026 plans for the Angular community. Always quite busy 😅 Too limited on Bluesky to do in details, so let's sum it up to: Admin, Moderator, Organizer, Contributor, Blogger, Speaker, Creator

Make genius choices about choosing your Angular third-party libs and get insights about the right version you should install! I'm currently rebranding my old 'angular compatibility checker' project to a 'health check' one. Still in progress, it should be released this week! #angular #npm #github

Using an LTS Angular version matters as updates are not just about new exciting features, but bug fixes and security patches. The support policy and release schedule are explained in the official @angular.dev documentation. I updated Angular Can I Use to highlight these boundaries

Currently considering submitting a talk about MCP Servers for Angular conferences. I feel like we quickly moved from "there is no such a thing" to "install it, it works", without explaining how it works, the value, the limitations. #angular #mcp #ai

Angular Can I Use landing soon in your blog! Mentioning an #angular feature in developer preview, but you need to update your blog post once it's stable? I'm working on a web component widget to integrate the info directly into your blog posts, ensuring it uses up-to-date data.

Discover a new daily updated list of contribution opportunities for @angular open-source projects. Not assigned yet, on active projects, tagged with good-first-issue or help-wanted, there are waiting for you to get involved in the community! www.dolmen.tools/en/angular/g...

I'll soon shut down angular.courses current iteration for another shape. I've been creating framework-agnostic tools and have already been working on using them for other frameworks. The project will soon be rebranded with a new domain

In another universe, the default Angular prefix has always been `ng`, and it would make more sense than `app`, especially for directives! You can still customize it with your angular.json file.

New UI for Angular AI Docs! Powered by the kapa.ai SDK, it's now a full-page chat to query the official documentation and other sources to learn more about #angular. Fun fact: The first version was deployed from Copenhagen Airport, and the new version has just been deployed from Amsterdam Airport.

As CSS has evolved since Angular 2 release, that's about time to review the angular/animations package. The Angular team just opened a RFC, feel free to comment your thoughts about the future of animation support in Angular! RFC: github.com/angular/angu...
