The illustration I made for the General Witchfinders Zine. I chose to do a digital drawing in a retro style, fitting the theme of 1960s and 70s paranormal and parapsychological forces, discussed in Department X by James Randall. @generalwitch.bsky.social #britishhorror #illustration #paranormal

New Zine for Samhain, available now from @generalwitch.bsky.social including my piece 'Wolf', illustrated by @scoobtoobins.bsky.social The text developed out of a writing habit formed in response to bluesky prompts such as #vss365, #thingstowriteabout, #sensewrds, and #poetsofdoom.

Today I received my author copies of the new @generalwitch.bsky.social zine. This includes my short story ‘Sheila’ - I hope you’ll enjoy it, and check out the groovy art by Adam Birch. You can order it here: ko-fi.com/s/e03de315b0 #zines #horror #writing #horrorcommunity #shortstory

Loved this episode (well, we would wouldn't we..?) Guessing the film version doesn't include the 2nd crazed TV studio scene. Tittupy Bumpity is a fave of the band. m.youtube.com/watch?v=V-zK... I met someone last week who was a Planet People extra! He said Sir John was sozzled most of the time. 😄

A good year for interesting old horror movies on the big screen. Apart from @fwfilmfestival.bsky.social there's also the restored Hammer Dracula on re-release; The Devils* later in the month; and @generalwitch.bsky.social are showing Dr Jekyll and Sister Hyde at a cinema in Acton on the 30th.

Fewer than 10 tickets left for the @generalwitch.bsky.social screening, I gather, and they're keen to sell out. Here's my little review of the very interesting film, if that might help convince you: boxd.it/bi0pRp

18 days to go – if you have a following in or near West London, please share the attached post with your audience. We have a small number of tickets left and would love to sell out if we possibly can to get a really good atmosphere going. 🎩🙍🏻‍♀️🔪 How many reposts can we get?

Calling West London horror & film community leads – can you help us spread the word? We’re screening Hammer’s Dr Jekyll & Sister Hyde + live podcast recording at ActOne Cinema, Acton (30 Oct). Please DM us if you can share to your group or newsletter! tinyurl.com/DRJeky11
