Oh, did you think we were just kind of walking around a farm during Field Trip? GUESS AGAIN! IT'S ZIPLINE TIME! 💨 Will your MC brave the challenge and zoom across the field? Or will you cheer your friends on from the sidelines? (Both are equally fun options 💕)

We brought on several artists this year to help create MC Doll updates! 💕 They've been working very hard and we can't wait to show you all of their new customization creations. Before we get into it, a little about these pieces: 1. Each new item is a submission request from a Kickstarter backer!

First, let's hear from GB! She reports that the team has mostly finished programming the final Step 2 Moment! Just a few tweaks to iron out now. She has also updated the Steam and Itch pages with new screenshots to reflect the EA content instead of just the demo scenes.

Finally, she is working through a ton of backend work for both of those platforms. Now, Shawna to the stage 🎤 Lots to see here. They report that all Step 2 Moments are now in-engine, with the final Step 2 Outro script about to be coded soon. Several new emojis were added!

Today is GB's birthday! 🎉 Happy birthday to our fearless leader, who brought the characters we know and love into our lives. Where would we be without Cove, Qiu, Tamarack, Derek, Everett, Baxter... (the list really goes on and on!) We wish you a fabulous upcoming year! 🎊

The first two weeks of September, gone like THAT! 🫰 The GB Patch team continues to work toward our November Early Access release. Our mid-month update is here with the details. ✨

Shawna and the programming team finished logic scripting for two more Moments and are awaiting images and bug fixes. Left to code are an outstanding Moment script and the Step 2 outro — both are in-progress!

They revamped Tamarack's Step 2 sprite layers, saving about 40mb of space. LEGENDS! They also coded a small interactivity feature for an upcoming Moment 👀 Finally, the team hopes to be wrapping up the content of the September beta and fixing any issues from the previous beta in the coming weeks.

GB notes that she has programmed various scripts and will hopefully be able to complete more in the second half of the month, as her recovery will be further along. 💪 David completed sound editing for one of the new Moments this month. 💥
