This reinforces my idea I shared the other day. The focus should now on refining how to make it better, once you get there you can increase the speed and see productivity gains. I'm hoping that the time needed to get to the desired higher quality is enough for DX (main bottleneck) to catch up!
Mom I'm famous! Stream processing was mentioned!
Today more relevant than ever. To every leader out there, keep the bar high.
Finally writing down some thoughts about the Pragmatic Summit. Going in order of what I was able to attend live at this awesome event!
Oh wow getfresh.dev this is pretty dope! Just giving it a go right now
I wanted to start the new year on the right foot. Not every developer productivity project should be set a side for yet more feature work. All you need is better framing! Genuinely, some stakeholders need help understanding the value proposition.
You can do it too! Check out my journaling habit after a whole year, I think I'll appreciate even more on year 2 when I get to revisit memories from the year prior. The "one line a day" approach really made this an approachable new habit.
AI is only going to be more and more integrated with the development lifecycle. That is not a good reason to give up on juniors and I believe companies that stopped investing in them will regret it down the line.
