This month, I'll be making one pixel art doodle per day for #Inktober. I've never participated in one of these challenges before... and I could definitely use the practice. I'll be posting them as replies in this thread, to try and keep things tidy. 🧵

#Inktober 2026 Day 13: "flimsy" It'll be fine. Just don't tell them that they're the only thing holding the raft together.

I fully completed Gentoo Rescue (all puzzles, all Steam achievements, and 100% in-game completion), after 61 streams. Thank you for all of your support. 🙇🏻‍♀️ Tuesdays will still be Gentoosdays in my mind for some time yet. Perhaps others will carry on this fine tradition? 🐧

It's bittersweet to see the final Gentoosday stream from Fyda. She's been doing Gentoo streams on most Tuesdays for over a year. She's already completed all puzzles and all Steam achievements, but has one final challenge remaining: www.twitch.tv/fydatech #puzzlegame #indiegamedev

I finished Mysteries of Old Tokyo last night and loved it. I'm reading its 1990s-style manual so that I can stay immersed in its charming world for just a bit longer. If you enjoy falling down rabbit holes on wikis and amassing all sorts of knowledge just because IT'S NEAT(!), check it out.

That idea from 2 weeks ago morphed into this track, which I finally finished tonight. "Splintered Fortress" could be described as a rapid journey through the stages of an NES game that never existed. What kind of game would this be? www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ9f... #chiptune

Of course, the moment I need to go outside for a few hours is the moment my brain starts composing a chiptune in 6/4 time with metal riffs. Will I even remember it when I get back? Walking past a cacophony of street-level stores with music blasting from them makes this a little challenging. 😅

Partway through making this, I also decided to make the track "symmetrical" in terms of the time signatures it transitions through and the duration of each section. I doubt this actually makes it better, but I wanted to do it anyway.

This may be a long shot, but with Summerchin starting in about a month, I wonder how much closer to 2K followers on Twitch we can get before the event. If there is such a thing as "long-form streams" that try to be thorough and hopefully also cozy...I suppose this is what I'm aiming for at least.

Ugh, this is actually sickening. I found out that a website used my voice to create an AI voice soundboard thing where people can generate words using the likeness of my voice. They linked it to my twitch. I found that other people are on here too. I submit a takedown request, but this is so gross
