Honey has wandered off to the sun room, so letting Fluffy in the kitchen for a minute.

Honey has been extra sticky since returning home. Stayed not just inside, but in my bed all night.

Over the last 6 years, I reconfigured my home and life to make Honey feel safe and welcome. I stopped listening to music whenever she was inside, woke up at 4am, kept special food on hand.

One of the cats barfed up their breakfast. I haven’t gone out to clean it up yet; interestingly, the raccoons haven’t tried to eat the barf.

Fluffy fully layer down, with the door closed. But not for long. Even with rain finally falling, he still prefers the open road.

I’m almost out of treats. Fluffy really wants more.

Still no sign of Honey, but the quartet was hungry.

Oreo was most aggrieved that Fluffy was getting treats and he wasn’t. (He got some)

Fluffy stopped by this morning, just before the raccoons arrived. He really wanted to flee deeper into the house, and was wary going out.

Before Honey, there was Mabel. She came from a shelter, and had been dumped on the street by someone who couldn’t deal with her digestive issues.

October 2020, Honey had been stalking around outside for weeks, affectionate but independent. Then in the middle of a rain storm, I hear a thump on the roof. I climb up the ladder and bring her down and inside. I would sleep on the kitchen floor near the door, so she could go out when she wanted.

Oh no. Your favorite is missing? So is my supper.

No sign of Honey still. Nor Fluffy. CM stands guard.

The unseasonably warm weather has led to late rose blooms.

So many of these attacks rely not on some deep secrets, so much as a vulnerability that was well known but too tedious to exploit by a human.

Honey has always kinda reminded me of my second boyfriend. Came out of nowhere, and always seemed like they could disappear at any moment.

Made a second trip out, this time in the other direction. Saw a cat, but not my cat.

Honey went out last night and still hasn’t come home. I set an hourly alarm, and would check every door. 🙃

CM and Fluffy were taking turns coming inside. Honey was not happy being door blocked, but eventually made it inside and went to her new nap spot in the hallway bathroom.

Oliver Twist has been getting friendly, and seeking out pets, if not ready to come inside. Got to feel his tail. It is rigid and unable to stretch out.

Someone turned on a transponder in the repair hangar. I doubt it is actually installed in a plane, based on location.

I would be willing to commute for this job. 🤔😋

It is interesting that @ajc.com didn’t post this article to their account here. Almost like someone in the organization had a moment of shame.
