If I was an LA firefighter and I saw the Brian Griffin thumbs up, I really feel that would motivate me and give me the strength to “do it for Brian”

Now there is a fire on the far side of the range i ride. Its where i took today’s video. It also threatens fallout city. Which is up the hill and not fucking not good.

The building with the pool is the malibu outrigger. Where i grew up. The lot next to it at one time filled with outrigger hobie cat sailboats just to the right is william peter blatty’s house. He wrote the exorcist and was a really nice man.

Trump is a liar. California is top in fire fighting suppression of fire related loss and upkeep to reduce risk. SCE uses helicopters regularly to check lines and trees are constantly being trimmed. Hills are patrolled.

To claim we just let it happen is a outright lie. Welcome to another four years of a guy who let covid kill millions of folks blame newsom for every fire lit in california

People framing Meta's new direction as "sucking up to Trump" seem to be ignoring the possibility that this is simply billionaire class solidarity in action.

Zuckerberg says Meta is going to "dramatically reduce censorship". Given Meta's track record, I don't think it's too difficult to forecast what type of content this move is going to end up promoting.

Billionaires don’t cate about facts

Meta said it would end its fact-checking program and rely instead on Facebook and Instagram users to add notes or corrections to posts. The new protocol, which will begin in the U.S., is similar to the one used by X, called Community Notes, Mark Zuckerberg said. nyti.ms/40nRNLu
