Absolutely 💯 True…. ⚠️REMINDER: If your vote "didn't matter," this regime wouldn't be trying this hard to keep you from voting in November!

Call it the MITCH Act. If a U.S. Senator can disappear from the job for months and still collect a full paycheck, working Americans shouldn’t have to choose between getting well, caring for family, and paying the bills. Paid leave for ALL. 🇺🇸 #USDemocracy #RisingBlue

$4 BILLION. That’s how much the Trump Administration has now spent paying companies to cancel offshore wind projects that would have lowered your electric bill. Yes, you heard that right: they are PAYING to keep more energy off the grid and your bills higher.

nytimes.comTrump Administration to Pay RWE to Cancel Wind LeasesIt was the fifth such deal struck by the administration to get companies to drop offshore wind projects.

The US Republican Party is plainly becoming a criminal organization. The state Republican parties ate following. As for the Democrats, they need to grow a spine as an organization.

Apparently, Republicans in the US are casting the Canadian border as a ‘security threat’. I think they are starting to spin a scenario to justify an invasion, and I also think that anyone who believes them should not have the legal right to vote.

Dear friends at the British Labour Party, at a moment in history where Britain badly needs stability, PM Starmer gave you a massive majority and now you pushed him out. Seen from Canada, this seems impatient, fractious and self-indulgent. Can someone reasonable explain the justification for this?

March 9: "We're now totally independent of the Middle East. We don't need their oil." April 1: "It doesn't really affect us. We have so much oil, much more than we need." June 17: If I didn't agree to the MOU, we "would run out of reserves at about 4 weeks..."

This Needs to Happen…. Idea: a law that says if you’re going to build a data center, you have to also build enough solar panels to power it. We can call it the Bring Your Own Damn Grid Act.
