Go watch my new video essay. Not only so you can better understand the current war, but also to familiarize yourself with, imo, the most powerful and inspiration - and yet most neglected - revolution of our times.

New video essay is out! @aymanmak.bsky.social on the Sudanese revolution (and war) www.patreon.com/posts/new-vi...

In this time where Jewish trauma is often metastasised as far-right colonial violence, this burst of radical, queer, border blurring decolonisation is so refreshing and inspiring. They also entwine gracefully from global decolonialisms so it is not only interesting for Jews. 🖤 @ayoub.bsky.social

We are happy to announce that Hidah: Jewish Counter-Colonial Thoughts is finally out! In the first ever episode of Hidah, we meet the three hosts Alexia Levy-Chekroun, Yonathan Busquila Listik and @danielvoskoboynik.bsky.social and introduce our vision for this pod. www.patreon.com/posts/131179...

Elia and Esraa spoke to my dear colleague Maram Humaid about daily life in Gaza. So much of the news has focused on the horrifying images, the deaths, the amputations. Amid all that, so many have to keep surviving. This is what they discuss.

elia ayoub@ayoub.bsky.social

We spoke to Gaza journalist Maram Humaid about the many layers of Israel's genocide @thefirethesetimes.com. There was even an Israeli airstrike nearby during our recording. The full episode is available for free here www.patreon.com/posts/tftt-1... @fromtheperiphery.com

Listening to this is a MUST. Palestinians in Gaza are at a breaking point. Journalist Maram Humaid describes the unbearable situation, how people survive and how many Palestinians (youth, those with young kids) increasingly want to leave the Strip, no matter what.

I edited this episode. It's really powerful. Hearing Maram speak at length about her daily life in Gaza under Israeli siege and bombardment is just ... I don't know how to communicate how privileged we are to hear the stories of someone resisting genocide. We need to listen, we need to do more.

Today marks 50 years since the Civil War started in Lebanon. It remains one of those most misunderstood conflicts of the 20th century. We commorate this occasion by doing a deep-dive episode, of the many wars that raged in Lebanon since 1975. https://youtu.be/z6QyFZGTilU
