amusing that liberal utopia bluesky has lately kinda become an endless tRump feed. look at what stupid shit he's done now is still 'look at him' and the species should be better than this. imho. (but no, I don't wanna know what books you read today)

the silent cost of working. the average car payment now is between eight hundred and five-fifty a month. Average insurance for the car is two hundred a month. that in itself is close to 2/3 my income. add two grand for rent and I'm in debt and I'm not even mentioning food.

what the billionaire class isn't telling the public is that their pie in the sky notion of universal massive income does necessitate population reduction down to only the desirables.

one side talks with no real meaning behind their words, a word salad where the word itself is enough to rawr. the other side talks with meaning where the meaning is what motivates the rawr. neither side wants to remove the rawr.

100 billion and counting in extra profits for big oil due to his war. that'd be kinda a war tax on us all if it weren't for the fact that it's into corporate coffers instead of public ones, eh?

the social contract that we are subjected to should be taught in required school and we should have to sign that we understand and participate like a rights of passage. How else can we align and not waste the time flailing in growth experience??/

I actually come from a time when a credit card had to be manually swiped and we had hard copies of transactions. Big tech hasn't solved anything, we've merely swapped a bit of convenience for our autonomy.

wallmart says it's gonna use the tarriff refunds (that We paid for) to keep from having to raise prices any more. Not to lower prices to pre-tarriff tallies but to not raise them more. I guess that's something... (sighs)
