I'm a writer and love to collect stories, especially in the form of anime and toys.

Apparently Sams Club has stopped carrying the lasagna i like. Since nobody else seems to carry that flavor, my life is once again lasagnaless.

Saw they are doing a statue of Kirk. Assuming its not of James T, I think its in poor taste. Why would anyone want a monument celebrating the murder of someone.

I love the old Star Wars Sketchbooks for two reasons. 1. Funny little details like the one in the picture. 2. The joy of seeing the rejected ideas reused in prequels and sequels.

Had a weird dream last night. Went to a con, and bumped into Clint Eastwood, who was cosplaying as Uncle Fester. Apparently I can imagine the unimaginable.

The couple that runs the local Konnichiwa restaurant seem unable to grasp the thought that someone might not want terriachi. Said I wanted Hibachi style instead, so they left it off, but gave me a cup of it on the side. when we left, they seemed shocked we didn't want to take it with our leftovers.

I am very impressed with Raymond Burr's acting. I saw him in Ironside and I firmly believe that man loves his wife. I watch Perry Mason and I firmly believe he is just stringing his secretary along while hes secretly dating his detective, Paul Drake.

Do you think we could all just fuck with the government and suddenly change the color associated with Republicans to Yellow, and Democrats to... Green? Then I could complain about living in a yellow state instead

Saw a shirt with Yoda on it, saying Best Father ever. Really???? Sure, he was good with kids, but even if we assume Grogu was his, the only award he is eligible for is absentee dad of the century. Grogu and Yoda have yet to share any screen time. Grogu spent 30 years being raised by mercs.

Happy Mothers day to all. I've been trying to avoid thinking about it this year as my Wife's and my mothers (and Grandmother) have all past on. That was being selfish. I have a friend and some aunts who need wellwishing.

From all the Star Wars I have watched, the most intense stories are those that cover the Empire consolidation of power after the Emperor took control.

I am sad to say that my own sf writing has accurately predicted present day events. Specifically incompetence in charge, and the shocking popularity of enemy propaganda. It was supposed to be a running joke so historical events wouldn't appear as dark as they were.

Im surprised that all the Inquisitors in Maul (so far) are ultimately killed by Ahsoka... and both deaths are less than coporial. They should bring in one of the ones Maul kills on Malachor.

I finished my first wave of editing Unfamiliar Magic, and gave it a nice epilog. I'm currently satisfied with it, but it will get another editing sweep. Im also planing to attend ConGregrate in July. I hope they stars will align. But something is still bothering me, but I can't figure it out.

Watching a terrible dub, and there was a section where the characters were complaining about a dub not making any sense. Translation: They know it sucks and are doing it anyway.

Got to editing on my current. Titled Unfamiliar Magic. I had been so stressed, I had forgotten how fun writing can be. Plenty of editing left, but i can't wait to start shopping it. I am worried about its length, but its a good story.

Ok. Apparently im in a bad mood. Thanks to my autistic brain, it took me a while to notice. Not really sure why, but now that I know I will take extra steps to avoid confrontation, and moderate my driving because bad mood driving can be fast and reckless.

Ben watching stellvia. On the one hand I am enjoying it. On the other hand, its really not that good. The dialog is disjointed and doesn't always make sense. The art is also simple. There was also a scene where the guy with a mask on that grew lips to speak. But I'm still enjoying it.

I will say one thing about the president's speech. His first sentence was 100% true. We did launch a lunar mission. It will travel far. Astronauts are brave heros. Beyond that sentence... it just kept getting worse

I caught myself feeding the wrong wolf the other day. You know, ones bad the other good fighting inside you, which one wins? That wolf is a smooth talker... its just a simulation, nobody's getting hurt. But Go Nagai anime is classic. Your darker side will love it. The wolf is wrong. It hurts me.

I don't like driving, but I do it. I find it too stressful. My wife finds driving to be relaxing, but she can't drive anymore. Thanks to Smallville, I will never use a chauffeur!!!!

Started watching Queen Millennia. It moves slower than most shows I've watched, but im still enjoying it. I hope it shares a few of the movie's cooler elements... but ill find out.

Recently @paulle.bsky.social mentioned Ultraman Powered from Ultimate Hero. It had the best looking costume but it was too fragile for fighting. Made in America... but it never aired in the USA, but we did get Ultraman Great from Towards the Future, the Australian Ultraman who wore spandex.

I find it disheartening when I see a "news" story on YouTube that I want to believe but I cant independently verify. Even the BBC has let me down with paywalls. Also AI has trouble doing Lava Lamps.

The relationship between me and my dog can be summed up with Anakin's clone wars line to Ahsoka: "You would never make it as Obi Wan's apprentice, but you might make it as mine."
