So “Apple Music” randomly removed my latest EP. All I got was a boiler plate email from my distributor. If you are on Apple Music and happened to be listening to it. You can have a free redeem code for Bandcamp to get a free copy. band.codes/panduh/1990-fm #applemusic

Hi my name is Frank. I make electronic music. I’m unemployed and working on new music while looking for work. I am not great at being a “content creator”. But if my music finds you well or you know me from past free events I threw, or my old band (the panduhs). Thanks for being here!

One thing about me is I’m Pro-Privacy and pro not having the government use your kids as a fear tool to get you to sign away your rights is a no-go for me. Josh Lowenthal, respectfully talk to an expert. You are on the wrong side of history with this one bud. EFF has been around longer than you.

The AI race is gonna kill the internet when no one can buy hard drives. You guys want to rent computers? Cause this is how we all rent computers. When we can’t own storage.

@theguardian.com ^ And a gentle reminder since they are on Bluesky. That bad bots scrape their live sites regardless of cutting out wayback machine. Wayback Machine ironically has led to ICE data manipulation being checked by USA Today. They also block the archive. 🤦 Support open news.

As high-profile websites vanish, it’s a reminder that the web has no built-in archival layer. But some publishers are now blocking the Wayback Machine. What’s at stake if the web stops being archived? Our new FAQ explains: preserving the public record matters. 🌐📚 help.archive.org/help/faq-pub...

The thing that bums me on the knife fight news orgs are starting with @archive.org. They should be leaning on archive for claiming first source with timestamps on upload. To also make citing sources cleaner and detecting ai plagiarism. Like who is validating news orgs from edits if blocked?
