how is the experience of using the google app store even legal? its insane how much ads and scammy shit people have to navigate around just to download anything on their phone, drives me insane trying to help people with how bad tech has become

a lot of less tech savvy people's phones are basically the modern equivalent of mid 2000s internet explorer toolbar hell but worse, ive seen some where there are literally unskippable video ads popping up every few minutes from random "pdf viewer" or "qr code scanner" apps

E1M2 hybrid progress. Was worried the difficulty still felt undertuned with enemy placement, but after coming back to this after a while I found myself struggling a bit on Ultra Violence. And yeah, the sound effects are also Doom/Quake assets frankensteined together in a variety of ways

she passed away in march and i miss her so much, nothing is really okay and i cant really exhaust myself and relive all those details but if you havent heard from me i hope this makes sense, im not really ever going to be ok again and i have pretty much no direction in life ill try my best

i was living with mum and dad but then he wanted a divorce and took all their shared money and put it in crypto shit, wanted to sell the house and move to some south east asian country so we were kind of fucked already

Building some Aria of Sorrow setpieces (not for gameplay) using Doom Builder. Translating sidescrolling 2D spaces into 3D is always an interesting creative challenge. Have to embellish a lot with the floors and ceilings here and make new assets to fill in the gaps.
