This week's lineup prediction. Uncertainties in every part of the pitch. Lammens is probably still not gonna start. Maguire might start, but I assume he started for tactical reasons against Chelsea. Ugarte is probably ahead of Mainoo. Mount or even Zirkzee could nick a place up top.

Prediction against Chelsea. Lots of uncertainties. Could be 5/11 on this one. Cunha and Mount are fit, so they could definitely be in the starting 11. Maybe Lammens doesn't even start. I know nothing 🤷‍♂️

That goal was a bit too painful. Might consider retiring from fpl after the season. I don't think I have it in me anymore with the way football is these days anyway.

Predicted lineup against City. This is probably the "safe" prediction. I don't think Amorim will play this 11. Don't know what he'll do, though. So it's just a safe bet going for 9-10/11. I think Amad might start in the front 3. Sesko might drop out of the 11 in that case.

Interesting that almost everyone in the fpl community can agree that five extra ft transfers is stupid. But a lot of people argue for deadline at kickoff because it's more fun to get more points. I like to plan transfers lots of gws in advance, which means I dislike both changes.

So in conclusion - bps and assist changes are fine - chip changes is probably not good - defensive action changes is something I've dreaded for a long time - 5 fts at AFCON is just weird

The best way to get hyped for another fpl season is to come up with a great team name. Last year I went with 'Unnatural position' and it didn't feel great. No surprise I had a terrible season. Must do better this year. Any suggestions? Preferably VAR related puns.

Last weekend I celebrated the end of the fpl season by running my first marathon. Unfortunately, my body didn't last more than 40.5k. Then I had to get assistance to walk the last 1.5k to the finish. Still a great experience. I challenge anyone who hasn't tried it to sign up for a marathon in 2026.
