@damienmoule.bsky.social Found you on Substack talking about prioritizing traffic signals. I’ve had a burning question for decades. Why on straight as an arrow routes have street car tracks remained in the centre of the road? For pedestrian safety/ease of use the tracks could run along the curb.

The pedestrian experiment on Church street is an example of the lack of leadership. Moise has a tent with nothing in it to what - advertise his reelection in October? The closed street looks like a war zone. No aesthetics were even considered. What has the ‘gay community’ done for themselves?

Is it just me or is everybody disgusted in the state of Canada Post’s mailboxes on the streets of our main cities? They seem to be the target of protest against the government but to me it is an attack on our identity and pride.

Shame on the City of Toronto for neglecting our parks and our history. Is it erasure or simply incompetence? Is it corruption? Look at this shameful care of King Edward’s statue in Queen’s Park! Plant some flowers as they do in Montreal to honour Queen Victoria! Perhaps Diane Saxe or Chris Moise?

This reminds me of the debate around safe injection sites for addicts. Nobody wants to blame the addicts/violent students and their parents but the reality for public policy is to choose responses that will cause the least harm for effective public education while working on longer term solutions.
