We lost the sweetest cat today. He had been on palliative care for the last 2 months and decided to leave us in his sleep. From giving kisses to adopting stray kittens. He was a legend. Run free Oliver.

Happy Catturday. This little lady was at the vet all day yesterday...throwing up constantly. At one point we were not even sure she would make it. Thanks to a great vet, today she is eating and returning to her old self. Early days, but a sense of relief.

The end of a long and tiring Caturday!

25yrs ago I spent quiet a lot of time in Russia. Friends use to say that Putin was a dictator, although we in the west hadnt fully grasped that reality at the time. Today in the US, I'm getting the same vibes. In some respects a lot worse - as a non native, even in Russia, I didnt feel this unsafe.

When I moved here 15yrs ago the US seemed to be a country of hope. Today has shown how far it has fallen. A President who doesn't want to unite his own ppl and is too corrupt and deranged to want that anyway. Darker days ahead.

Nice to see that my homies across the pond, still know how to give a fitting and deserving welcome.

In the real world any other administration would have done a tenth of the corruption of this Trump administration to execute its own own downfall. I think at this point, nobody is doing it solely just for Trump. They are so far down the rabbit hole of corruption there is just no way of turning back.

Please stop calling it Alligator Alcatraz. Alcatraz was a prison built to home violent criminals. Alligator Auschwitz is far more fitting of its real purpose to intern and strip the basic human rights away from people, for many, whose only crime was a dream of a better life.

Time for Europe to grow a pair and stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine on the battlefield. Today, you saw the US administration admit its alignment with Putin with their treatment of Zelensky...if the UN vote earlier in the week wasn't enough with the US siding with Russia, Iran and N. Korea.

The fact that Trump wants to double down on Zelensky yet offer concessions to Putin, is all you need to know as to where Trumps heart is. Democracy and the free World needs a new leader, because Trump isn't it!

Anybody who still thinks that the checks and balances, rule of law or constitution will in some way will still save the US, clearly haven't learnt from history.

Some of my friends are Russian ex-pats, and nearly 20yrs ago they were saying how Putin was a dictator, before the West realized. Those same people are now saying the same thing about Trump, except most of them point out he is far more open about his intentions than Putin ever was.

The amount of Democratic lawmakers who still think that playing strictly by the rules will initiate any change in the current chaos is quite alarming. Didn't they learn anything from the last 4 yrs?

Asking our Canadian friends, are things bad enough in the US, for us to claim asylum in your country yet? I don't mean the Trump confused mental asylum type, but the political type. The mental asylum may be a viable option in the future if this shit continues though.

Trump will try to suppress the truth and feed you only the info he wants you to digest. Don't fall for it. The best defence is to stay informed. Stay woke, if you will. Keep an open mind and never a blind eye, and above all else maintain the high moral ground.
