happy birthday, to one of the best versions of Windows created. (p.s, if you really think i’m a “born in 2018 likes frutiger aero” kid, i did actually grow up seeing this particular version at my old school, so i’m technically allowed to say this)

On this day in 2009, Windows 7 was released.

so i’ve got a plan now: before the end of 2026, i will be archiving my old channel and developing my new channel. the Windows content from my old channel will however move to WinSky. don’t fret! i will try to preserve almost all comments that i can if possible!

notice anything different? yep, the name and branding have changed. the YouTube account will be affected in a different way, as i will be either deleting or archiving the old channel with a new one opening some time before it’s deleted/archived. reasons will be explained in the thread.

and as of recent, it seems they’ve completely stopped caring about everyone else and have been progressively ruining the platform to the very ground. that’s Google for ya.

20 years ago today, Google announced their purchase of YouTube for $1.65 billion in stock.

and i never thought the original poster would recognize this either

was meant to post this as soon as i woke up but i never thought hykicnova of all people would like one of my reposts.

getting recognition in some form i never thought would happen THIS soon into my history on social platforms but sure i’ll go with it

it’s weird how it managed to stay afloat for that long, despite what everyone had to say about it.

i know that i’ll lose all of the advanced features i somehow managed to get on my old account just by making an all-new account, but i don’t mind starting over completely if i have to! anything to do a complete refresh! -

but anyways, that’s all i need to say. if you have read all of this, now you should know what the future will be for my YouTube account. and thank you for reading! i’m really sorry if i may have came off rude at any point, that wasn’t intentional! lastly, any questions?

for the second reason, i want to update some information which is way too hard to do with an existing account. mainly changing the email and age to the account, which requires you to have to contact YouTube just to do. -

i don’t use a Gmail for any of my accounts anymore, and the account uses my mom’s birthday because i was 12 when the account was made (i believe i was impatient and just wanted it done on the day i turned 12 rather than wait until i was 13. stupid ol’ me). -

logo content and nothing else. if any of my old subscribers (particularly pre-Windows era) have actually stuck around in some way, thank you for staying! i hope you come to enjoy what the future of my content may hold! for the post-Windows subscribers, hey there! Windows content isn’t dead! -

there are mainly two reasons as to why i want to completely start anew. the first reason is because i’m pretty sure most of my older subscribers have stuck around to wait for something i don’t do anymore. i’m no longer about logo remakes or bad filler videos. -

a lot of channels from India with no videos subscribed to me only because of the reconstruction videos i did of the DTS ‘Waterdrop’ trailer. and i presume that most, if not, all of these channels were there for just that and nothing else. and any other people outside of that group came for just -

haven’t really gone big on Android lately (especially after the lockdown announcement) but i think it’s still worth reposting.
