My story-thing "Disemployment Guidelines" is live now, thanks to @flightlit.bsky.social. I hope you'll take a look, even though the piece was banned by the Pulitzer committee for "gross and repeated affronts to literature" & "please stop following us home." flight-literary.ghost.io/michael-gran...

"Sometimes, i’ll be reading and my wife will come over and ask very pointed questions about Mrs. Brisby and the rats of N.I.M.H. and i realize all too late she’s trying to feel out whether i want to have sex, but i’ve already failed the test." - Poem set during my forty-seventh year, Justin Lacour

Question for other editors: what is your procedure when or if you start to suspect an accepted piece may have been partially written or edited with AI? (As in, how do you broach that conversation with the author, etc.)

All responses have been sent! If you think we might have missed you, please reach out via email and let us know. Submissions for Flight 8 (coming in January) will be open shortly!
