Which claim about an official UAP report have you struggled to trace back to the document? Share the claim and a source link if you have one. We're choosing questions for future First Light briefs.

The source trail matters. Brief 003 covers the NRC review, ODNI reports and three sampled FAA records. That FAA sample cannot establish a trend. Every public brief is free, with no signup required.

Inside: three reports read in full, the NRC records review completed across all 22 pages, sampled FAA records, and an explicit "still outside this issue" list. Every claim cites a source we opened. We verify what the documents say — not whether every conclusion in them is true.

These documents were already public. What's new is that we've read them end-to-end from an archive we can reach, so we can state exactly what they say — and what remains unopened. This is a checkable record, not a disclosure event.

Reading an official report? Keep five things separate: 1. Document and copy used. 2. Exact passage. 3. Read scope: full, partial or listing. 4. Source assertion versus your analysis. 5. Release, cut-off and archive dates, plus access limits.

An archive capture date is not a report's release date. Our AARO comparison leaves FY2025's official release date unverified. Found a primary release notice? We'd welcome the source. AI-assisted research; caveats included.
