Just finished read Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy. Excellent read, I highly recommend it!

I’ve been involved with the @citiesandmemory.bsky.social project for a few years now and it has really helped me grow and evolve as a musician. I’ve been fortunate to be included in their artist spotlight! citiesandmemory.com/2025/06/arti...

I'm still around just haven't posted much. I finally got some time to play with a new musical idea after working on an ethereal drone-type track I wanted to do something more upbeat. #torsot1 #pigments #omnisphere

A vital theme song considering the current climate of the US. Created by talented music friends of mine.

I did an improv set starting with an included pattern using @timexile.bsky.social’s new tool PTNSHIFT. It’s a generative music performance tool. Super fun! Links to the full video in bio where you can also find his patreon

Can’t beat this view. #whereilive

Having a theater kid means you'll hear them sing about making chicken noodle soup.

So I'm going through in-progress tracks some from last winter. These are the musical ideas I decided to take further and make a full track out of them. Now that I am listening back I don't like many of them. Quantity gets to quality IMO, but boy do I need to make a lot more music lol.

Some people have asked me how I prepare a track for mastering. I show you on my YouTube channel www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnsh...

#nowplaying Weird album cover, but a good song. sambarker.bandcamp.com/track/paradi...

Made some mini terrariums with my kid today. I love them and I think I’m obsessed!

I've now got some merch on my bandcamp. I'm starting slow, but I am open to additional styles/colors! firephly.bandcamp.com/merch

It’s #BandcampFriday. Go and buy some music and support an artist you love, AND support musicians impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires at the same time.

I just released my first sample pack! All the tonal sounds were created using my voice and all of the percussive/FX sounds were created using my field recordings firephly.bandcamp.com/album/astral...

#nowplaying Spend some time with this one. exospheremusic.bandcamp.com/album/phasep...

Got a visitor today. Looking pretty healthy!

My favorite prints from today. #art #gelliprint

#jamuary Day 31! Today's the last day of this journey. Now for the fun part of listening to them all and deciding which ones to take further. Which ones were your favorites?

#jamuary Day 30. This is one of those days when I am feeling rather than thinking when playing. This one just clicked for me. Using Fors Chiral.

#jamuary Day 29. Today is my youngest kid's bday. I had him in mind while doing this one. I don't know how the days can be so long and short simultaneously. ooof.

#jamuary Day 28! Thinking about how many musical ideas I have to work with is pretty cool. I played around with Arturia's Pigments 6 for this one.

The muse didn't arrive today so I started working on creating Instrument racks for Ableton Live using my voice. You have to keep showing up and do the work.

#jamuary Day 27. Only a few more days left. I've been learning a lot about myself, and the tools I have and use. I'm finding that less is more with what I've been working with.

#nowplaying I love the playfulness of this track. This definitely goes into my list of songs for study. domeniquedumont.bandcamp.com/album/people...

#jamuary Day 26. This one has only three tracks. I'm exploring working with fewer tracks but creating bigger sounds.

#jamuary Day 25. I'm not listening back to any of these until February. I'll take stock to see which ones will make the cut to become a complete track.

Share your book reading list with me! #booksky

#jamuary Day 24. Music keeps me sane when the world feels crazy. It's kind of a meditation for me. I can tune everything out and just be in the music.

#nowplaying www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGUW...

#jamuary Day 23. I decided to explore Ableton's Mood Reel pack. I started with presets but played with the parameters to create new sounds. Playing the flute sounds on the Osmose gave it a real natural sound.

#nowplaying I really love this artist n5md.bandcamp.com/track/when-i...

This is written by the bishop who stood up to Orange Voldemort. Everyone should be buying this. It's available on Amazon for $14. I'm an atheist and I'm buying it. #booksky

#jamuary People ask me why I don't sing more in my work. I blame it on my lack of lyric-writing skills. Sometimes I'll sing nonsense which is what I did here. All sounds used/created with Stale + Ash's Auras. The video was shot at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

#nowplaying. I love the vocals in this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lufm...

#jamuary Day 21. I've had Arturia's Pigments for ages and have never really played with the engine. I decided to get under the hood and make my own sounds for this one. Video was shot on a plane flying over Norway.
