MusicLoveMusic: Album of The Week [Link to exclusive interview & videos in bio] Songs from the Heart of Belfast's Underbelly: ARBORIST Triumphs with 'Looking For Love'

Arborist – Looking For Love Mark McCambridge’s fourth album addresses human desires with authenticity and sensitivity, creating an expertly woven musical fabric with deft lyrical turns of phrase

Delighted to have one of the all time greats, Arborist on The Bad Arts today sharing albums that inspired his incredible new album, Looking For Love. Read: zarahedderman.substack.com/p/the-bad-ar...

I’ve released a new album to streaming and bandcamp today. It was made a couple of years ago on a DX7 and a TR707 drum machine. It’s quite sad and I like it a lot. It’s on all your streaming sites and you can also get it from my bandcamp. darrenhayman.bandcamp.com/album/im-you...

Out today: Looking For Love from Arborist. "understated and elegant" Uncut 8/10 “essential listening." KLOF Listen to Arborist’s fourth album of exquisitely inventive Americana here: li.sten.to/arborist-loo...

Just over a month until we host Arborist for an all-too-rare full band show in London. Come join us on Sunday November 15th at The Waiting Room N16, with support from Cormac Nagle. Earlyish show, doors 1900 and all over by 2200. Advance tickets from wegottickets.com/fikarecordings

Arborist’s “Looking For Love” explores love and its absence, using Belfast as a microcosm for the wider world. McCambridge sets an extraordinarily high bar for composition, songwriting, and arrangement. klofmag.com/2026/10/arbo...

Out next Friday: “Looking for Love” from Arborist. fikarecordings.bandcamp.com/album/lookin... Arborist’s fourth album of exquisitely inventive Americana, places us firmly in his hometown of Belfast, allowing it to act as a microcosm of the wider-world, with all its foibles and charms.

"Every Leaf Library release feels like an exploration of pop music’s possibilities, and each one seems to bring us closer to the realisation that those possibilities are endless." Some wonderful words from Thomas Blake here on our new compilation.

I was delighted to be commissioned by Arborist to make artwork for the 4th album ‘Looking for Love’. Inspired by Airfix kits and the writings of Ciaran Carson, and primarily Mark's lyrics. Album out this month. Find out more: jonathanbrennanart.com/artwork-for-...
