Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Took Mom to an appt. 2) Stopped by to visit Middle Kid for a few minutes. 3) Dinner out with Spouse. I mean, it's just Culver's, but we still went "out."

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Got new key cut for the car Youngest Kid drives (after the only key got lost this weekend. 2) Oldest Kid got pizza for dinner. 3) Watched 𝐻𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑧𝑢𝑠𝑠𝑎 because it's that time of year.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Hung out at Middle Kid's vendor booth at Quad Con at Merle Hay. 2) Radio show episodes dropped today. 3) Stopped by deli w/Middle Kid after con for dinner.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Middle Kid's booth at Quad Con did decent business. 2) Ran into a couple of filmmakers I know at the con. 3) Mini pretzel hot dogs for a snack while at con.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) I voted. 2) I took Youngest Kid to vote for the first time. 3) Headed over to help Middle Kid set up their convention vendor booth.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Background on a locally produced feature. 2) Took a spin through my hometown on the way back. 3) Goofing off and watching some "horror" movies.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Back to the storage unit to clear some more stuff out. 2) Watched an Italian sci-fi flick because October, I guess? 3) Got call sheet, etc. for a background gig tomorrow.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Worked on clearing out Mom's storage unit. 2) Middle Kid came over to visit. 3) Helped Spouse make chocolate chip bars.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Made green bean casserole w/Spouse. Around here, when it gets cooler, it's usually "casserole weather," rather than "soup weather." 2) Got a start on editing the next radio show episode. 3) Watched some vampire art films (𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑅𝑒𝑓𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑆𝑘𝑖𝑛 & 𝑁𝑎𝑑𝑗𝑎) because it's October.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Dr. appt. 2) Dropped keys & signed last paperwork for selling Mom's condo. Now, I have to wait for closing, then that chapter's done. 3) Saw Youngest Kid's performance in DMACC Ankeny Theatre's production of 𝑆𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛 by Jen Silverman.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Gave buddy & his kid a ride to airport. 2) Saw a couple Bela Lugosi flicks. He plays a vampire in one and a sinister butler in the other. Began wondering which role he's actually played more. Wait, Mad scientist? 3) Recorded review for @oneofus.bsky.social. It'll drop soon.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Took Mom to an appt. signed some more docs for the sale of her condo, and helped her get groceries. 2) Recorded a review for 𝐻𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑟 for @oneofus.bsky.social. Should drop soonish. 3) Managed to get Middle Kid's new (to them) car registered in under an hour.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Cardiology appt. Clean bill of health, in as much as I can get one, (but got confirmation that getting additional tattoos is discouraged.) 2) Helped a friend self-record an audition. 3) Oldest Kid brought dinner home.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Watched a couple "Halloween" movies. 2) Restarted a short film project I had previously set aside. 3) New radio show episodes dropped on KHOI FM tonight.

Today's 3 Good Things: 1) Helped Middle Kid at their vendor booth at Ames Pride. 2) Picked up some books from the Ames Library Book Sale. 3) Had an amazing, and probably really bad for me, breakfast bowl from the nearby farmers market.
