If Democrats have any sort of brain cells yet, they will: 1. Keep a running tally of his broken/failed promises 2. Hammer the media with them 3. Rally conservatives and centrists not around progressive issues, but normalizing the political climate for citizens. Not ideal, but that's the game now.

Corporations give money to Trump because they, like him, only care about themselves.

The same thing is true when citizens demand legislative action. Statistics prove citizens' posture on US bills of law have no influence on whether the motions passes or not. Capitalists' needs and demands, on the other hand, correlate... and lobbying money is the causal link. Always. #oligarchy

I know this isn't popular in *some* circles, but I've never been concerned with popularity. Hey, #California? Canada here. We have your back. We're more alike than most of the states you're (supposedly) united with. This too shall pass, and you will thrive. Stay in touch. Let's support each other.

It baffles me that middle-class right-wingers in Canada willingly become shills for multimillionaires and multinational corporations when they, like everyone else in their shoes, only benefit from the carbon tax. Remember, when Conservatives suggest changes... they're not sending us their best.

What we need to take away from people like Zuckerberg (Jewish), Musk (foreigner) and Thiel (LGBTQ) is that they're on board with MAGA for as long as they have money, means, and bend the knee. Others like them are subhuman. They don't realize it won't take much for them to be added back to the pile

The United States is an imminently right-wing country, down to its core. The American Left is just centrism with flashy decals. But there will always, always be another group to attack for MAGA. If you're part of a minority group and you voted Trump, you haven't safeguarded yourself in the least

An annoyance must become a threat. A religion not their own becomes replacement theory. Non-whites, non-cis, non-straight taking a spot in popular culture becomes erasure. People who say "Happy Holidays" wage war on Christmas. They deny whiteness to people they would see imprisoned or published.

The Right wants to remove everything that they choose threatens them, systematically, and without mercy. In doing so, they will always cannibalize themselves in the process, because there will ALWAYS be a threat to be found. It never ends.
