#introduction I'm a coder. I've been on the #demoscene for 30+ years and I still release prods on Atari ST and Apple II (@frenchtouch.bsky.social). I'm also a video guy. I developed in-house solutions for live TV broadcast & VOD. Currently into video archive preservation.

OK !...

From a bigger post on insta sending love out to the kog crew. 💙 I needed all 2,200 characters for that haha. #KnightsOfGuinevere

Today we lost Walter Koenig. Some thoughts about a fine actor and genuinely nice guy....

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

This month for Sailor Moon, we are happy to present to you all the second opening animation from the first season of the TV series! Like the rest of these, this was scanned in 4K from a 16mm rush print by us! Please enjoy! youtu.be/Cpehj8DZF40

▶️ youtu.be/kKUBT1h4uoM ◀️

some folks reported not being able to use certain adult-focused platforms (like onlyfans and fansly) — there was an internal miscommunication and these were accidentally added to the list of disallowed domains. this is now fixed! but you may need to refresh your app to get the update. 💙

SkyFeed hosts 91,000 custom feeds for 865 € a month, just shy of 1 cent per feed 🪙🦜 The SkyFeed Pro sub now covers 11% of that and makes feeds you published refresh faster. You don't have to build feeds to subscribe, getting a sub for 5 €/month also helps keep the ones you read running!

Have you ever thought about how your computer adds and subtracts? It takes a lot of hardware to handle floating-point numbers like 12.34. I opened up Intel's 8087 math coprocessor chip from 1980 to see how it works...
