He can have funding for the ballroom if he agrees to give the same amount to every school and college across the country to strengthen them against gun violence.

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.

Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else.

If your takeaway from last night's incident at the White House correspondents' dinner is that a ballroom needs to be built on the White House grounds, you are perhaps focusing on the wrong problem.

If Biden had slumped over like this during a press conference, Fox News and other media outlets would be running this picture non-stop. But because it's Mango Mussolini, he gets a pass.

You know if Obama or Biden had posted something like that, Republicans would have been calling for impeachment and the 25th Amendment until the end of 2026.

So, we're doing the whole "war for oil" thing again, huh? I seem to remember something about learning from history or being doomed to repeat it.

For the record – and I feel I have to say this because, y'know, people – Maduro is by no means a good guy. My issue is that a nation of laws doesn't behave this way.

It doesn't do extrajudicial killings, it doesn't violate the sovereignty of other nations without a lawful declaration of war, and it doesn't treat military action as "just like watching TV."
