Did my thing last Saturday!

✨ Registration for Anthro Northwest 9 - “Beauty” is open! ANW9 dates are January 7-10, 2027 and will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Seattle, WA. Membership applications are available at anthronw.com/anw9/register/.

I really enjoy it when authors go the extra mile in artistically adorning their books.

It’s the last day before the new patch but I thankfully remembered to do the Nemesis acheez! #Warcraft

Registration and the Discounted Hotel Room Block is now open for ANW9 "Beauty" happening January 7 - 10, 2027. For all the details head on over to: anthronw.com/anw9 Hope to see you there!

Always gotta be mindful of the horns and wings when walking through a doorway #FursuitFriday Suit made by @poeproductions.bsky.social who just opened for commissions!

Thank you Arrow Video (and to a lesser extent Netflix) for putting out this awesome release so I don’t have to have a subscription to finally watch the fourth and fifth season.

Yeah, you always have to watch out for that type of fog.

Pizzaaaaa

It’s both AnthroCon and #FursuitFriday which reminds me of the time I completed my first fursuit in the Westin hotel room before the fursuit parade began during AnthroCon 2013. A proper tradition

I love that dracthyr can access the warrior class and thus be tanks, confusing some folks in the process such as that shaman healer after tanking a Pit of Saron +15. It's like things have gone full circle from the vanilla WoW days - humans tanked dragons, now dragons tank humans.

I hope Ben & Jerry’s continue to make this despite the show no longer being in production.

Looks like this thing that’s been sitting in my wallet app will be coming in handy tonight!

I dig the lean animation but I keep thinking the tail would just be tucked between the wall and feet while resting on the ground instead of why yes that’s a pretty tail fin you’re displaying

Taken over 6 years ago at FC2020, I almost didn’t attend but was able to last minute given the timing of a family funeral in the area. Little did I realize was that it would be the last con for some time before the chaos of COVID hit. #FursuitFriday

The true reward after successfully completing a timed dungeon were the exclamations of disbelief at the end, heh. #Warcraft

If I’m working on a clock does that mean I’m in for a bad time?

I could easily imagine Dracthyr just casually munching on them, slathering stuff in a sauce made by them and contentedly licking the plate clean with their long tongues while observers look on in disbelief. Not sure who wrote the flavor text for them but loved it @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com

Thank you, Vinegar Syndrome, for reviving this gem.

It’s wicked expensive, but that new Apple Studio XDR monitor is relatively unique with it’s combination of being 5K, high refresh (120Hz) and is incredibly bright to do some nice HDR (1,000 nits regular SDR, 2,000 nits HDR) with a focus for color accuracy.

This was on the front page of a tool manufacturer website. Those look….uh….more exotic than the torque wrench I was looking for.

One of my favorite views thus far. #warcraft #dracthyr

Fursuit Friday inspired me to correctly guess on Wordle’s 2/20 word

Watched the *Forbidden Interview* and the only thing that surprised me was the mention of furries. youtu.be/oiTJ7Pz_59A?...

For all the ~15 seconds that we spend on the title screen as we log in, can we take a moment to appreciate the 19 minute epic soundtrack for it? #warcraft (I'm sure it'll be on Apple Music/Spotify/etc like the others before.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ-h...

The last minute Oh-Yeah-I-Should-Do-The-Nemesis-Before-The-Season-Ends because that mount custom appearance is the coolest of the 3 from this expansion, IMHO. Also, it had to be my favorite nemesis encounter of the 3 as well. #warcraft #dracthyr

A little belated but I was grateful at briefly encountering this pretty darn awesome dragon suit while running about at ANW! Mad props on their wing arm stamina! (Discovered to be @varysdragon.bsky.social )

New critter just dropped! It's @faustorian.bsky.social ! (I LOVE this character design, omg)

Not *entirely* a fursuit, but this awesome kigu from @apoxon.bsky.social has been a wonderful (and more compact) alternative. For relevance, here’s a pic of Spottacus’ fullsuit on display at the charity auction booth in the ANW dealer’s den. Can’t help but feel a bit somber next to it.

A trip to Seattle isn’t complete without my annual pilgrimage to the Blick Art store because they sell the good stuff. Also, best place to find Blick branded color pencils, right?

🐾 Today we're releasing the Vendors' Room map for Anthro Northwest 8! Draphilius and team have put together a great group of vendors this year. ⏱️ Hours: Fri 11 AM–6 PM, Sat 11 AM–5 PM, Sun 11 AM–5 PM 📍 Columbia Room on Floor 3 ANW8 is coming soon - what are you looking forward to?

For a moment I read this as “meth” but it’s actually “metal”.

Unsure if @vivziepop.bsky.social had a hand in it, but grateful that I can pick up a blu ray physical copy of Hazbin Hotel season 1 since I don’t have a streaming subscription (better visual/audio quality anyways). Hoping the same for next season! (Also picked up the CD soundtrack for S2)

So I confess to thinking that these were a spoof toy I saw in a South Park clip until I found an empty box of one sitting on top of a garbage can at the post office. Apparently I missed out on the Grand Rumpus

Working mood 🖥️

Not sure if anyone else noticed but the patch changed the dracthyr’s lean posture from their backs against the walls with their wings folded downward from their sides to now their left shoulder leaning in and their wings shifted off to their right. Feels more dynamic! #dracthyr #warcraft

Have to appreciate how elaborate Lego sets can be but my favorite is just a whole bunch of bricks where your imagination is the instruction set.

The Shape of Apple

Walking the rounds at work and saw that somebody left a #2 in one of the washing machines.

Dimensius is certainly one of the largest raid bosses and tanking him makes me chuckle with that attack animation of his. Soooo many loaded comments could be made, uh huh huh……huh huh…. #dracthyr #Warcraft

Considering the prevalence of the trades in my area I’m kind of surprised there’s no Harbor Freight store.

Tried @vrchat.com for the first time on my iPad (11” M5 w/16 GB RAM) and went to @eldarath.bsky.social new instance. Obviously some glitches here and there but a great start! Video doesn’t convey the buttery smooth frame rate
