after having done it in avril it's crazy how complex it is to implement support for npm packages . i think covering most node: builtins is gonna be a non-goal but i would love to be able to open a path to polyfilling them via avril:ffi but that means exposing some kinda pre-resolution module map

...node/npm support is removed? welp never using this then lmfao

i think ende will look really compelling in like 6 months' time though unless they overpromise deno compat bc like if they don't update how permissions are passed on the CLI it's gonna suck (e.g. paths containing commas) they have a leg up over avril tho bc deno's webstreams impl is wayyyy better

i think its really funny that the ende guy is making a git forge and a javascript runtime though. i'm the git forge and javascript runtime maker girly

i'm out of prog this is prog withdrawals yearnposting i cant even lie

let's be friends and sit together and have parallel laptop time and then also curl up sleepy and watch videos and shows

keep liking my posts and we are going to end up like this [picture of two girls in the same bed but facing opposite directions and with space between but theyre both asleep but like its all chill its just easier to sleep this way]

ok im not religious enough to try and get radio stuff working late at night so im going to curl up again who want me

i really hope i don't brick the keyboard that's on the way it's a nice keyboard. it doesn't have a hardware reset button so it's either "get the firmware right" or take it apart and tweezer short the boot pin to ground :S

tomorrow instead of writing about the last time i wrote keyboard firmware i am going to write more keyboard firmware. i'm sorry. it's my first risc-v gaming tho

i don't really think general game modding is about winning an information game more than it's about conjuration of ideas because the dx for things like minecraft or assembly-csharp unity3d games are functionally the same as source-available & the modding scenes there have been flourishing forever

i like being able to change directory in berry i'm flitting between working on programs and modifying the js runtime itself with the same conversation context

i think i need to learn more dexterity skills instead of playing rocketmania for my hands-occupied mental hammock i should get into penspinning or something

unsure whether i should force it or if i should just shelve kb blog post and write some posts that are actually interesting to me and not only a vehicle for resumé polishing . idiosyncratic javascript manifesto is calling me

its fucked up that u dont stop having oomf crushes even when u like dont have any sort of time in ur personal life for it man

Also, bitches*. Bitches love declarative operating systems and hermetic builds and apparently are willing to let the whole bash+IFD thing slip. So it’s impossible to tell if it’s good or not. *laudatory, self included

i dont want to direct quote bc it would be mean but like this is basically my current stance on all the non-normative tools i prefer

it also helps u not act like a salesman when you're writing readmes and shit like it's better for everyone to cut the shit & lay out the tradeoffs and which use cases are prioritized it's awesom

gonna fuck around and try omnios today but its kinda fucked up that u cant io_uring in the lx zones . theres like no other reason to want linux

the problem with 'do cool shit and tell people about it' is telling people about it is so much more annoying than doing more cool shit

do i really want to plan and submit a talk on $20/mo full-network backlinks when i could just do more projects
