Is he suggesting that his mother would call him a liar in a political ad? It tracks, but also telling on himself.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: Ashley Hinson, who you're campaigning for tonight, says the Ramaswamy ad is 'absolutely terrible' and should be taken down. Why are you defending it? TRUMP: I'm defending it because I know that if that ad was about my mother, you would love every inch of it

A little window into how deeply f(x)d up Elon is. So yeah, a nut job somehow ended up with all the money. Great job everyone.

i don't think we can come to a reasonable compromise with this

This chart really takes a turn.

Boo!-per Lund@cooperlund.online

If you're not familiar with the alcohol consumption by decile chart, it's a real eye opening look at what being a hardcore alcoholic is like

"I tried the free Microsoft Word clone on Linux – and it’s my new default (on Mac too)" I, too, am very impressed with this suite of Adobe and Microsoft clone apps. Very impressed. Blown away! Try this out if you have not already. www.zdnet.com/tech/free-mi...

Hegseth: "It's worth saying again so the fake news understands it. We are no longer the woke department or the weak department. Simple translation of that -- no fatties no trannies no beardos no weirdos no wimps no radicals. Just warriors."

Has anyone noticed how many businesses are suddenly charging a 3% surcharge for using credit cards? Is this trend factored into the CPI? If not, I think that’s backdoor inflation right there.

It’s pretty clear that RFK Jr. had chicken pox as a kid and believes he had the measles. Our public health policy is based on his misremembering a childhood illness.

I would simply curl up into a tight ball, die, dry up and blow away if my ass were on display like this, but I guess he thinks it’s a good look. Just post through it, pal.

Here 👇 is what Miller posted.

Anyone who has ever walked into a data center knows there’s like one person in the whole damn building - two at shift change. 👇

David_j_roth@davidjroth.bsky.social

Got a good job down at the Data Center. I work on the line, and it's hard work but it's honest and the wage is fair; my family and I are grateful for it. I rivet the word "absolutely" onto the little apologies that chatbots do when they misunderstand a prompt.

When you think about the lies the government used to tell back in the day, they at least tried to prop them up and really try to sell it to the country. I miss the old lies, tbh.

This! This right here.

I am once again begging Hollywood to stop using the Greek alphabet for an Ancient World movie, if they can't afford to even throw a couple of quid at anyone with an inkling of the language. Unless they really think audiences are dying to see THS THDPSSSSPS

Wasn’t it a social media post almost exactly like this that boosted the award by 85 million?

Republicans Against Trumpism@rpsagainsttrump.bsky.social

Trump: “Surprisingly, the Supreme Court declined to “review” a Fake Case brought against me by a woman I never met…This Case is really against the United States of America, and all it stands for”

The richest asshole on the planet buys an election and uses the power derived from it to casually cut off USAID and condemn thousands and thousands of people to die. Stopping that guy really ought to be a global priority.

I keep expecting that at some point, the interests of investors and working people would converge. I mean, if more jobs are created, doesn’t that translate into more consumers? Isn’t that good?

The Trump administration demonstrates again that losing the moral high ground has consequences.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Rubio: "You've got friends who have been shot in the head because they're out protesting, and it's heartbreaking to him to see these people are abused in this way and have no measures to take against their own government as a result of it. This is a vicious regime."

I need a transcript of this exchange.

Incredible shots of the exchange between Rep. AOC and RFK, Jr. at today’s congressional hearing. (image credit: WSJ reporter @lizessleywhyte.bsky.social)

Do we think Hagueseth is typing “show me all the desalination plants” into ChatGPT all by himself? This would be one of the most clearly illegal orders we could point to when the trials begin.

Phillips OBrien@phillipspobrien.bsky.social

Oh great. The US President is now back to publicly threatening to commit terrible war crimes because he started a war he did not understand. He should be in prison for this. Attacking desalinization plants could spiral into a regional catastrophe.

This is obscene corruption.

LATEST: Ex-Trump adviser Michael Flynn will get $1.25 million in his settlement with DOJ, resolving claims stemming from his Mueller-era prosecution, per person familiar with the terms www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

All I am going to say, is that the person who *wants* to become the next Fed Chair in this political environment scares the crap out of me.

JUST IN: Judge Boasberg has rejected DOJ’s subpoenas for Jerome Powell, finding they were issued for an improper purpose — Trump’s bid to pressure him to lower interest rates storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Giving someone a tiny bit of power is maybe the best litmus test for what kind of a person they are. Maybe these conditions could be set up in a sort of lab environment so we can identify who they are before anyone grants them any real responsibility.

404 Media@404media.co

This is Nathan Cavanaugh, another DOGE staffer explaining how he flagged grants at NEH for "DEI" which would be reviewed for termination. 404 Media has reviewed hours of this footage and we'll have more soon. Part of a lawsuit by @acls1919.bsky.social, @modernlanguage.bsky.social + @historians.org

I will never forget the absolutely insane group of advisors he surrounded himself with even during his first term. Why the American electorate wanted a second dose of Trump is just a mystery to most of us.

The weirdest part is Trump won’t even be mad about it.

Chris Murphy@chrismurphyct.bsky.social

So Iran now has, perhaps for the first time, information about the location of our most sensitive covert sites in the region. A completely foreseeable, unnecessary consequence of unnecessary war with Iran.

Someday soon, this guy is going to be hoping that the country still respects human rights for people accused of serious crimes.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Stephen Miller: "The human rights that we are gonna protect are not of the savages that torture and rape and murder. The human rights we are going to protect are of the peaceable citizens who have an absolute human right to live in physical safety and security every day of their lives."

It would be charitable to blame the brain damage.
