gruesome album, the integration of death metal and black metal are done so seamlessly with metalcore in a way the band claims to have The Acacia Strain influence, which I really hear it. Probably top 3 Album Of The Year for me. Wonderfully crafted Blackened Metalcore record! #metal #music

How the album transposes motifs across the album at times (most noticeable in the last track) is something which i overvalue in albums to keep big cohesions, sick as fuck 🤙

The Acacia Strain - pillar of salt. Seldom I cried at songs. My first instance happened with Nyleth. I can't get to listen to that song often. Pillar of salt is an experience almost similar. (1/4)

That feel when you start to binge a band's discography after liking their latest album (The Acacia Strain's stuff is very consistent, every album is clicking on first listen, [I have yet to listen to albums post-Coma Witch] ) Really recommend them, heavy shit overall 🤙

lil rant, need to throw it out there for myself, don't mind me, ugh man fuck, almost 0 motivation in game programming because of programming itself, following tutorials by the letter (supposedly), and then not being able to figure out what’s wrong from the videos.

but man PROGRAMMING. fucking sucks. atp im just gonna express a story in another medium cuz I can't really find any small amount of motivation. Nothing. As much as my main inspirations are games, I just don't fathom it.

In hindsight, the rant helped me get some motivation I guess? After talking about it with someone (which i I really appreciate, tysm) I got back to it with a slightly different mindset, looking at tutorials more egregiously, and asking people I know with the game engine (which I also value a lot)

Trying to ask for help has not functionally worked in the span of years, trying different engines have also not worked to a full extent, from either loss of interest or just low motivation. I don't mind art, game design, story, i have those sides handled pretty alright.
