That feeling when you wake up at 4am and decide to get your buttonhole machine dialed in and when 11am rolls around it’s dialed in and you’re STOKED.

I have been a child clothes sewing MONSTER the last two days. I feel safe posting the birthday presents here because my son and DIL are both like “what’s Bluesky?” PopPop doesn’t fuck around. Next up, I have some knit hemp to make teeshirts and I MIGHT try a Spider-Man mask…

I keep going back to what his last year in office was like. I think that’s an important environment to remember, because so many of us have forgotten. Starting with the collapse of society, a million dead Americans, and ending with an attack on our government. It’ll be worse I fear next year.

Wake me up when we have the technology that allows political campaigns to remove you from all of their lists once you’ve already voted. No more commercials. No more phone calls.

To use a court documented child abuser as the star of your four million dollar campaign push is beyond disgusting. Her sexual abuser was convicted in the 70s. Consider how much evidence that required 50 years ago. It’s an attack not just on Amy but on all victims of child abuse. Slime, all of em.

They ultimately landed on this same design but with larger shapes within the pattern and printed onto cotton poplin, and later a cotton ripstop. This bolt was likely to test utility pieces, bags, armor vests and the like. They ultimately stuck with solid Olive canvas for those pieces.

The more I research this the more excited I am about it. The Army never put this NLABS Type II pattern into production on a canvas. The size and repeat of the pattern heavily suggests this was printed during their testing phase in 1979.

Just gonna throw this out there Driving at 65mph saves roughly 25% on your MPG vs 75mph. Even better than that would be 55mph but we aren’t gonna be fucking crazy.

VOTED if you’re a Georgia voter, there are a few ballot initiatives/constitutional amendment on the ballot this election. Look them up educate yourself find where you stand. My two cents? There’s no 250 acres small farm… And when our judges are politicized, we should know which party they represent.

By now you’ve heard about the comparison of this El Niño to the last one we know of that matched these Pacific temps in 1877, which was responsible for 40million deaths. The vast majority of those were the result of famine. Thankfully we aren’t also fighting a fertilizer and diesel shortage. Whew.

Nothing they have done outside cost of living has directly impacted/threatened my life. My disgust and revulsion comes at the sake of the literal billions of others their actions have harmed and killed. I find people who supported them until their own lives became affected disgraceful.

The strength of those Americans character is outshined by only their ignorance. And they deserve not a spit of grace, until they earn it with a little humility and admit they let their greed and hate walk them straight into the corner they find themselves in. No sympathies spared for them.

“We have some big surprises coming up in another few weeks, right, Russ? He's going to be one of the very important people in the history of our country, in my opinion. He's got some great things happening." He then wrote on social “watch for the midterm surprise” Do we need a Vought refresher?

It’s the leadup to January 6 that causes me concern. First came the illegal calls to state officials. Then came the 60 lawsuits. Then our attorney general resigned. By December, they had cleaned out the leadership in the Pentagon. And Congress people were prepared to refuse the certification.

The first thing they did, they are number one priority when returned to power, was to clear out and replace any roadblocks they faced four years earlier. They’ve been very very, very successful. Our “justice department”, Pentagon, Courts, and Congress have become unrecognizable.

The only resistance I have seen to this administration, comes from the Senate. And I think we all know how little that resistance has been. But my concern is not for election day. It’s the months that follow before what they know to be an inevitable transfer of power in Congress.

It’s the leadup to January 6 that causes me concern. First came the illegal calls to state officials. Then came the 60 lawsuits. Then our attorney general resigned. By December, they had cleaned out the leadership in the Pentagon. And Congress people were prepared to refuse the certification.

The events of January 6 only happened because a few people blocked their conspiracy. I don’t see any of those people today, minus Kemp/Raffensberger. Our system is built on precedent. Not a single person was held accountable for all of that illegality so we set a precedent for it being acceptable.

Awful and Awesome not being spelled the same during the first syllable when they sound and logically represent exactly the same thing and come from the same fucking root is fucking stupid.

Four’ish years ago, when he held the record for most bipartisan authored laws in Congress, I started saying “if he wins reelection he’s the best candidate for a Dem ticket.” This week is what I hope to be the start of the Ossoff name recognition movement. We NEED a dem Gov in Georgia this Nov.

Governors in Georgia fill vacant Senate seats until the following statewide election occurs, essentially creating an incumbent for their party. Ossoff will most likely resist leaving the Senate to campaign with a GOP controlled Gov mansion. The Gov race in Georgia might shape the 2028 Prez ticket.

One more old man yells at traffic post. Hey, stop accelerating till you’re fucking the bumper of the car in front of you. Driving like that is WHY traffic keeps stopping. Just chill out and move at the flow man.

Use AI to fix our broken and archaic traffic light system. Killing forward momentum at 10pm to sit at an empty intersection murders fuel economy not to mention productivity. Modernize the traffic signals is a political campaign I can get behind.

The wealthiest man in Georgia running to be our governor is the starkest example of how busted our government system has become. Political service should not be attractive to the billionaire class.

It’s official. I’m now an old man. Nearly 50 and carrying deep opinions upon things such as- These new MLB rules have ruined the game. The old stats will no longer stand as striking (no pun)and fuck this new Wild Card system. It’s dog shit. Fuck the computer strike zone. Fuck it all. Sucks now.

No matter what happens, he’s going to say it was all because of cheating. But THIS time- He controls the justice department He controls the courts He controls the military He controls our intel agencies He controls a majority of state houses And I know he has lost support in the population-but

Having 29% of the population behind you can still be incredibly dangerous. One out of every three adults. Take Iran for instance. Only 11% of the population supports the current regime, and that’s enough to remain embedded without being physically dug out. This ain’t over the first week of November.

Last night Tennessee attempted to execute the first woman killed by the state in 200 years. Attempted. They gave Pike two lethal injections and after her still being alive, sent her to a medical facility this morning. I don’t trust any government with the ultimate power to end a life.

It’s rather close. Short trip to Ace Hardware in the morrow. And a quick class on how to make stitch size adjustments. I think the main issue is coming from what’s called the “spreader” assembly and getting my tensions set better.

It definitely makes a prettier stitch with thinner thread at the moment. (This is some rad vintage black silk I picked up in Toronto) But I’m gonna be running some heavy yarn through her so me gotta learn how to make those adjustments.

Gonna swap my current motor. Having a modern servo on it is nice and all, but I can’t get the one I got to stay constantly on, so 800lb clutch motor it is. I ran it twice, threaded, and broke my top thread. I’ll sort the motor and try again.

Tried to search here for new info on hurricane Polo and the results are all jacked queers in tight collared teeshirts and I’m not mad about it.

A recent employer said they spoke to a former boss of mine prior to my hiring to protect their hard No bigots/sexist cunts- rule. Respect! The recent boss said after asking “Give me something. Tell me his worst” The former boss said “He brought coffee to set” Stars, they’re just like us.

Yo, Primetime is rad. I really really liked it. Pattinson and Wever are so good together. Mostly played in subdued honesty with these strategic bursts of animation from both of them. It’s a fun film. No notes.

Favorite shows tonight Really liked Geese. Their influences come through strong, and I’m a fan of all of them. Turnstile was energetic, tight, and created an atmosphere of love filled angst. That’s a rad atmosphere when it infects 30k people. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

The Strokes were one of the best technically performed shows I’ve ever seen. Just flawless musically and vocally. My only critique is that Julian still carries his too cool for school ego, which was celebrated in the early aughts, but doesn’t appeal to people today. I think it tamped our response.

Why yes, as a matter of fact, I am going to go see the new iteration of Prodigy this weekend. And LCD Sound System, and Pavement, and Coheed and Cambria and The Strokes, and Wu-Tang, and Geese, fucking Shakey Knees, bitch! I do believe 50 is too old for three days, but I’m nothing if not ambitious.

You would think a president who survived three assassination attempts would have tight enough security that a photographer with a zoom couldn’t get a shot like that.
