What is this weird menu bar and Desktop background dimming in macOS 27 “Golden Gate” when I resize a window to full-size (not in fullscreen)? And why does it only happen with some windows? #macOSGoldenGate #liquidglass #ui

I shouldn’t be on here right now. I wasn’t able to watch the keynote live, and I’m planning to watch it later today, but I’m sort of getting spoiled left and right!

When my watch says “Very High Sleep Score”, but I still feel completely wiped out. What’s up with that? 🤔

Congratulations to Angelina, Keith and Margie, for each winning a copy of Yoink, ScreenFloat, Transloader and DeskMat in Mac Geek Gab’s August 2026 Mac Utility Mega Giveaway : ) The codes have been sent out just now. I hope you’ll enjoy my apps!

Still the first 3rd party software I install on any new Mac. The goat of utilities

But it feels narcissistic to point that at my own apps. Perhaps there’s something else I can do with it. An idea is forming in my head… 🤔
