Now watching: Thinner (1996) While I loved the SK book way better than this Tom Holland adaptation, I figured I'd give it another go. Joe Mantegna is great as the mob fixer "Richie Ginelli", and Kari Wuhrer, rawr. #FilmSky #Tubi

It's pretty fucked up that Daniel von Bargen's character shoots himself in the face, and then the actual actor also did in 2012 (but survived, but died later from diabetes).

Welp, it's a Monday. I have some laundry to catch up on, and have to cook later, and am wondering if today is the day I finally break out the Stouffer's "family sized" frozen mac and cheese that my wife bought a couple of weeks ago.

Also grandfather to Keith Coogan!

The great Jackie Coogan was born October 26, 1914 Besides acting he was the driving force behind getting a law passed to protect child actors from having their money stolen by their parents, known as the "Coogan Act"

We managed to get over to the "trunk or treat" a town over, near my folks house, and Victoria (aka the Gremlin) had a fun afternoon. I love Halloween, and Victoria had a fun day. 🎃👻

I thought this looked familiar, and both statements are ridiculous, because why wouldn't their first names count? 🤔

Will, TNT (2017) Follows a young Shakespeare as he navigates the violent, seductive world of London's theatre scene, facing religious fanatics and rival playwrights. Starring Laurie Davidson, Jamie Campbell Bower, Mattias Inwood, Olivia DeJonge Lasted 1 season (10 episodes) #TVsky

My wife went out to dinner with friends without us, so I guess the Gremlin and I are finishing up the rest of the chili tonight together, and then maybe a scary-ish movie before her bedtime.

They're doing a "trunk-or-treat" in my parents township up at the park this Sunday, my wife's employer is holding one on Wednesday afternoon, and then the actual trick-or-treating in our town next Saturday, good lord is that going to be a lot of candy, lol.

I just saw a commercial on TV for a company stating that 100% of their stock photos are taken by human photographers, as the main selling point, and maybe the world is healing.

Saddened to hear about Tom Skerritt, it was always a treat any time he appeared in a movie or show. I was just recently thinking about his episode of The Hitchhiker "True Believer", one of the absolute best episodes in the entire series.

It's our Saturday here. The wife is home, and likely taking the Gremlin grocery shopping later, and I've got some cleaning and laundry to fold later, but otherwise hoping for a chill day. Hope you all have a great one.

I'm just kind of bored with this, I'm sorry. Mama Voorhees is now in a self-help group, or something, and the guru is trying to sleep with her. I know they have to stretch her "descent into madness" over the course of a season, but I'm having a hard time staying interested.

I enjoyed it, but I'm honestly just more curious about the whole "The Grove" that is hinted throughout, the secret cult that Jack is involved with in California. I bet Colonel Sanders was somehow involved.

Oct 21st - Psychology professor, Dr Sean Maguire, met his nocturnally flatulent wife, missing game six of the 1975 World Series. 📽️📅 Good Will Hunting (1997)

This popped up in my memories from 7 years ago today, I went to the local Dollar Tree for the annual pet drive at work, but was happy to snag a couple of cheap $1 horror DVDs while there. That was a fun day.

Happy Wednesday, folks! I've already managed to make the Gremlin breakfast, cleaned out the cat crate and her litter boxes, and have the laundry started. Now it's almost time for the Gremlin's bath. Then hopefully a chill day (where we pig out on leftover chili), have a good one! ☕

Outside enjoying this brisk autumn air, but there's still a Gremlin to get to sleep, before I can sink into my own warm bed, while passing out listening to old episodes of Forensic Files play on PlutoTV (I'm just too tired for a movie tonight). Goodnight, folks. 😴

I was watching an FDR doc earlier today, and his Republican critics at the time typically referred to him as a "communist" or "socialist", where have I heard that before? 🤔
