The first time I played BOTW and got the Bokoblin mask, I couldn't help but envision this head-canon of the enemies knowing it's Link but just being cool about it, like "Oh okay, cool, hero wants to pig out, nice" then just go about their business. Larp of the Wild, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Our group of friends is currently making our way through the TV adaptation of Sam & Max and it's just as chaotic as we were told. Funnily enough, it lined up with the #samandmax20th anniversary of the first TellTale game! Talk about weird timing! You crack me up, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

There's nothing quite like building your first Minecraft house. Bare bones, nothing else to it, and taming your first wolf to go on all kinds of adventures together. Get crafty, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

I mean come on, not only am I a long time fan of #daftpunk, but it was announced yesterday that we're gonna be getting a Lego set soon. Of course the robots were on my mind today! Lose yourselves to dance, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

I am genuinely going to be surprised if anyone knows about the Playtoons seek-and-find game from 1994 called "Uncle Archibald", but lemme tell you, that game was played OFTEN on that Packard Bell computer we got at the time. Don't forget the sauce, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Thank goodness Super Mario Wonder had a Red Yoshi in its catalog of characters, that made the color selection very easy! Seriously though, I always forget how fun Yoshi specifically is to draw. Feel the magic, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

You know, with the sheer amount of stuff that is happening in the world today, it is nice knowing that there are folks out there who genuinely enjoy the traditional processes of being creative. No robots. Just people. Be human, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Today is dedicated to my lovely partner of 4.5 years, the wonderful @zehlua.bsky.social! They strive me to aim even higher, push through and knock it out of the park, while being a knockout themselves~ Here's a rendition of their sona! Love tremendously, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Revisiting my rendition of the White Rabbit has always been a staple of these challenges, and with each time I draw them, I get new ideas for the kind of character he is, as a resident of a Wonderland whose origins are based on misalignment. Watch the time, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Seeing #coyotevacme in theaters was an absolute delight and it makes me happy that a movie like that was still able to be showcased. Full of heart and an absolutely a labor of love! Can't wait to see it again. Never give up on yourselves, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

It's also surprising that I haven't drawn too many Spider-Man things over the years. This was a fun opportunity to do an interpretation on spidey sense! (also yes, Brand New Day was very fun to see in theaters) Like what's up, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

The tradition continues of drawing at least one thing from #NightInTheWoods for these daily challenges. I've said it before, drawing this band of characters is always a fun time. Gregg doing a huge cheese pull felt so on brand, so here they are! Gregg Rulz OK, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

I'm opening a commission! College and irl stuff really draining my money, so I think it's best for me to open a commission. If you're interested you can DM me! And please read the TOS in reply below⬇️

Not entirely sure where these two dogs came from, but their antics are something that I get little joys at imagining. Just a nice game of Frisbee toss with a dog that can run like the wind and one who can run their mouths off. Go long, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

You know, in the 9 years I've been doing these month-long drawing challenges, I am genuinely shocked I've never drawn anything Calvin and Hobbes related! I saw today's word and immediately thought about all those wagon rides these two did over the years. Go exploring, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Wanted to use some real-world inspiration for today, as this particular 'plant' is actually something that we've had in our house for several years! The shapes of the Anthurium giving off that heart shape brings a nice vibe to the house! Keep on growing, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Never trust a sock-puppet your friend makes of you. Something's always amiss with that... It's been while since I've drawn another character of mine, Lunara, who is described as the 'Mother of the Stars' whose influence gave light to the universe. Shine on, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

I had a feeling I was going to make something related to #minathehollower, and what better word to do it than 'GAME'! It's such a delightful romp of a game from @yachtclubgames.bsky.social and was fun rendering out both Mina and Thorne! Unearth the secrets, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Something I do for these challenges are micro trials, such as only using a certain type of Sharpie. In this case: Ultrafine point. And this scene from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind felt like the perfect time for a minimal drawing. Soar on the winds, Doodlers. Happy #dontinktwice

I always find one way or another to come back to this version of Alice in Wonderland that I have in my head. And with a word like 'Through' I could only imagine the titular character going through The Looking Glass. Go chase rabbits, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice

Sometimes you just have that epiphany that maybe, just maybe, there's something else you could be doing with your free time. Free diving into the deep sea? No thank you. I remember drawing this tiny diver back in 2020, and I felt like bringing them back. Keep swimming, Doodlers! Happy #dontintwice!

Always a good time when I'm able to revisit one of my favorite games from the last few years in these drawing challenges. It is very apropos to say that Chicory: A Colorful Tale had a supremely positive impact on me. I will always recommend it. You just gotta try, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Something I do often for these challenges is utilize scenes from stories of mine. Lykos here is somebody I've drawn a few times, but the scene in question is new for a drawing. It is a moment of realization and brewing rage. Truly a haunting sight. She remembers, Doodlers. Happy #dontinktwice!

Ah yes. The time has come early to illustrate stuffs related to the TRON series, particularly in reference to the Light Cycle. The sounds, the light trails. One of my favorite vehicles from fiction! Fight for the users, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

While not my go-to genre, Dolly Parton's influence on the both 'Country' music/media was a landmark achievement. Truly one of the greats. Drew 14 stars in the sky, 9 diamonds and 5 dots, for all the time you're workin'~ A rhinestone shines just as good as a diamond, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Having a Paranoid Pirate as your mentor really stunts the whole sea-fairing life, that's for sure. For 'Place' I was stumped, but my brain went "a place... like a spot... x marks those" and bam, I'm drawing my favorite Axolotl character, Al'ece. Get Swashbuckling, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

Alright! Kicking off Don't Ink Twice with some kick drums! In the 9 years of this month-long challenge, I'm shocked that I've never drawn a Muppet! Hard to not love the absolute chaos that is 'Animal'; this is the first time I've ever drawn him! Here we go, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice!

It's the return of the month-long illustration challenge: Don't Ink Twice! I'm given a list of words, I don't see the day's word until I sit down to draw; whatever comes to mind is my subject! The challenge begins OCT 1st, Doodlers! Happy #dontinktwice Find out more at: www.dontinktwice.com
