For future reference: I do not have "takes". I have feelings and emotions about videogames that are not, and are not trying to be, correct

I do understand that the technology isn't quite there yet to make me look like a fluffy animal, but I think I should at the VERY least be allowed to look like Lion Ushiromiya

[Sarcasm] Wow it's SO cool to just casually drop a completely untelegraphed major plot event from a series in your video and then go "... spoilers I guess" as if it's a bit. You're so funny and clever and I'm definitely going to keep watching your stuff

I won't shut up about Void Stranger because "absolutely sucks to play but is 3 steps away from being one of my fav games ever" is way more interesting to me than "game which is good"

I hope the trend of "creator of big, beloved game pushes slop machine" moves people in the direction of "big games are actually made by a ton of people and don't just have one creator"

For context: this army is specifically for farming boss materials and I know Zaknel is weak to sleep so I brought the sleep guys. When you stun a boss while asleep it gives you a tier 3, 4 or 5 item I got ALL tier 3 items

I don't mean the knitting itself. That part is very mechanical, I can do it with my eyes closed. Everything surrounding it that actually requires me to use my brain a little is like uuuuuuh I have to look it up every single time

Listen I just get the urge to knit whenever there's a new Sockscast episode cause I like knitting while listening to things

Started rewatching an LP of Void Stranger and I'm instantly really happy that I can skip ahead I like sokobans a lot in general but the puzzle design in this game is like. The complete opposite of what I like

There's SOME puzzles there that I really like, but mostly they just feel really tedious and like running through a mental checklist

Man. I'm sorry to be so negative about it. But it's hard for me to stop rotating Void Stranger in my mind. Like it's SO CLOSE to being good. It does so many cool things. If it was also good then it would be like one of my favourite games ever. And that's really frustrating

Fun PSP facts: - The PSP's power light indicates low battery by slowly blinking - When I hold the PSP, the power light lands _directly_ inside my retina's blind spot

Practicing and routing to get the achievement was REALLY fun. I wonder how low I could actually get my time

Windblown is definitely taking steps in the right direction with the latest patch but I still think it's a bit samey. There really isn't enough of an incentive to shake up your build a bit once you've got something going

Synergies are also kinda flat. Like "deal 50% more damage to enemies with bleed" is like... okay I guess? It couples two things so they work better together, but it's also like, the "cheapest" way to create that effect, if that makes any sense?

If anything I think the ability to upgrade gifts makes the problem WORSE I don't like upgrading in general. It feels a bit too "easy" if that makes sense. I think finding stronger stuff in the wild and deciding if you can use it is waaaay more fun than just scaling up what you have

Thinking about that one review I read about Astlibra Gaiden that said something like "this new protagonist sucks because she only serves to make the original game's hero look weak in comparison" so I thought there would be some absurd power scaling But no it was just misogyny I guess

I want... a keyboard I think it would be really cool to have a keyboard and maybe toying around with it would motivate me to learn music

Just muting anyone who says things like "just to add my two cents to the discourse" I'm good, thanks

Quality of life drastically improves when you surround yourself with people who DON'T feel the need to have an opinion on everything. Highly recommend

Man. I wish this site had spoiler tags I wanna talk about one specific scene in Watanagashi-hen that has stuck with me for a while but it's obviously a big spoiler

It's weird because Patapon 3 is my childhood! I played both but as a teen 3 was the exact kind of edgy RPG-ified game that I would eat up But 2 is soooo much more fun to play meow. Such a unique and cool progression system that forces you to slow down and play it like a portable game

This is maybe a silly thing to remark on, but the PSP has got the nicest, most comfortable date/time input field I've ever used on a controller I have to reset it frequently when I pull out my battery and. It's just SO smooth

It's got the EXACTLY correct mix of "slow when tapping the button" and "fast when holding the button". It's a UX miracle

Aaaaargh I'm getting so frustrated at myself for dying in silly preventable ways in Youmu Youmu Ball 2. I should take a break

Watched some Frosthaven gameplay out of mild curiosity and oh my GOD this game is extremely for board game sickos Happy for them but I'm not one of those
